The game against the bulls was literally Lebrons first game back from a 2 week injury break from a groin injury There is no doubt this team is playing better right now. But we have seen them play into the play in before, and lose to Atlanta and/or the Heat. Every time.

They are on a hot streak at the end of the season when all of the other teams are sitting their stars getting ready for the playoffs. It happens.

I think when you hire DD, it’s probably very explicitly and tediously explained that you are spending money otherwise he isn’t gonna help.

Do you believe at any point, the JR led Sox will make comparable moves to this? I just don’t. Hopefully Ishbia comes in and allows it, but right now in this current situation it’s incredibly hard for me to see the continued building towards success (which includes signing big FAs)

The minors ranking isn’t exciting until it continues through multiple seasons, we have seen this sort of bump in minors rankings when the team sells off. It never stays. it will be interesting to see the temperature of this board if they lose 120 again. A lot of people will be ok with them getting back to only losing 100 again, I hope they can get that 20 game improvement but it’s really hard to see

The bulls, while on a modest 7-3 run out of their last 10, are currently 9 games under .500 and in the play in tournament as the 9th seed. They are not successful, they are not “good”, and after this season they will draft pretty far from the top of the lottery and certainly will not be drafting one of the top kids like Flagg to become better. I’m not surprised Tray has bought into the bulls though
