Swisher had to be on the juice, right? How else do you explain the drop in performance. There's no power, and the few times he hit the ball hard, it made it to the warning track.

FYI, we are hitting .182 with RISP and 2 out. Twins are 1st at .315, Angels 2nd at .310.

I think that's pretty much game over there. f***. Another game we should have won. I keep telling myself these close games have to start turning our way but they don't. I'm starting to think we're just a bad team instead of an unlucky one. When give up 2, we score 0. When we score 3 or 4, we give up 6. That is what bad teams do.

We either score this inning or we're f***ed.

Carlos Lee was a salary dump. Pods was just a usable player we got back. Let's not re-write history.

These innings are a little easier to stomach when they go in order like they did just there. It's weak but at least you don't see the bacon streaks on their pants when they have to hit with runners on.

Swisher has been the biggest bust on the team this year (by far). What an awful month and a half.

These games would be much easier to take if it wasn't the Sox just screwing themselves over. I mean, I'd say at least 60% of our losses have been gift wrapped for our opponents by some form horrendous situational hitting or fielding.

Anytime Swisher wants to drive in a run is fine by me. Please do it.

At least the Mariners blew their chance so us doing the same won't seem as bad to me. Gavin looks he's not locating that well. There's a lot of fastballs that are up and over the plate.
