I, like most of you, had about fifteen different people trying and no one got tickets. I think real fans should get first shot. At my work, they are all Cub fans and everyone of them tried for themselves. None of them got a ticket either. Maybe everyone can register their allegiance to a team upon arrival to Illinois and forever be held to that allegiance. That way, next year, when the Sox go to the World Series again, the real fans, like us, can see them play! (Sorry for the rant, but I really wanted to go, but I'm not going to pay $3,000 for $140 ticket!)

As many of you know, I am a huge White Sox and A.J. Pierzynski fan. Unfortunately, I have to travel for work this week (and into next) and will only be able to see night games (not even the weekend ones!). Anyway, I am super superstitious and have a little routine I do before every game and before A.J. bats. I will be sending the love from Oklahoma (where I have to go ), but need all die-hards to step up your cheering (especially for A.J. ) in my absence. I know you will be cheering hard - but give an extra "Go WhiteSox" for me will ya? Thanks!

Yes! If you look closely during Joe's homerun, you can see A.J. jump the railing in the Sox dugout! Then during the post game they asked Crede who beat him up the worst at homeplate and he said something like "A.J. cuz he's the biggest guy on the team!" I just about died. A.J. is such a stud!

"The fact that he has a .999 fielding percentage speaks volumes." AMEN! Besides - did I give any of you permission to pick on my man? A.J. is the best catcher since Carlton Fisk. PERIOD. Not to mention he is HOT!! No one handles the pitching staff better and I believe it was Buerhle that said he credits AJ with a lot of pitching staffs success. Widge is a good catcher and I don't really cringe when he's catching. Maybe a little when he tries to throw people out, but overall Widge is good too. I just like A.J. better.

Let's see....uh....A.J. rocks! The man is an animal and I don't care if he did it on purpose. Truthfully, when I saw him rounding third I was like "Oh no!" cuz, although I love him, A.J. is not the fastest man on earth. But when he stepped on Boone and I saw how far the ball was sailing I was like "Whew!" Anyway, A.J. can do no wrong in my book!

I'm glad you had a great time at the ballpark, but girl - I could really learn from you! I had no idea they let people hang out by the players' parking lot. Hell, I'm not even sure I know where that is! I would give anything to meet A.J. - but God only knows what I would do or say if I did - so maybe that isn't such a great idea! I think it is awesome those guys acknowledged you and your friends. This is what I call fantasy baseball!
