A friend and I are going to the game Friday for the first time by ourselves! My question is how early do you need to get there to park? We live about an hour away and were thinking about leaving around 5:00 p.m. Any ideas if that will be enough time - we would be coming in off I-55. Thanks!

I think his 2nd half will be even more consistent) SP-Contreras C (Disappointing unless AJ is catching; he seems to do better when AJ is behind the plate, but not always. Needs to get in a rhythm & stick with it) SP-Hernandez C (I had hoped he'd be so much more this year, maybe it's the injury. Hope he'll come back strong in the 2nd half) SP-Garland A (He's been excellent and I would expect him to continue his excellent ways) RP-Politte A+ (I love Cliffey! I suppose those girls had awesome seats like behind home plate. I get sick of watching people sitting behind the plate, yapping on their cell phones. I would kill for those seats! Another one is my brother-in-law is a die-hard Cubs fan, but his company has seats behind the Sox dugout. He is planning on going with his friends to the game to "antagonize" the Sox players. Great use of excellent tickets. Makes me sick!

That is a wonderful story. Those kids went through a lot this year and I am proud to say I am a fan of the White Sox when they go out of their way for the community including Cliff Politte and Chris Widger's trip to Utica this year. Way to go Sox!
