We've got to ride the hot hand. Contreras should start game one with the way he is pitching now and the argue of playoff experience doesn't fit here cause for sure we use Garcia on the road and he's the only one who's had a good deal of experience. I'm not sure if Contreras has had playoff experience with the Yanks(actually pitching in a game) and Garland and Buehrle have definately had none so far. Duque sucks and he's not even part of the equation anymore.

Look at his numbers guys. He's produced this much with this s***ty offense. I'm sure there's not many other 1B freeagents that would top that with this lineup. I'd say sign the guy after the season ends and he'll probably be looking for 4 yrs./ 50 mil. Dont know how we can pull that out but I'd like to see them atleast put a good effort to signing the guy.

I've been watching every game this last summer but now that I'm in school I've watched them alott less than I used to and with the way they're playing I would rather use that time to study. They've shown me nothing to wanna watch them. They are sloppy all-around and we've got a player b****ing about being dropped and a manager contemplating retiment during this important stretch. Why waste my energy stressing over this? Beats me. I am going to watch the last series for sure though and if they make it to the post-season I'm 100% behind them, I just don't think they'll do good with the way we've been playing the last month and a half and there's no consistency now, (meaning they could hardly win 3 in a row or play decent 3 in a row).

I agree with you about getting rid of Hernandez. We gotta give BMAC a spot in the rotation.

What more can I say that I havent already said? :headshake Today, Sweet Lou helped our chances more than Ozzie did and he' not even on our team. :headshake I don't have a clue why Ozzie put Blum in there instead of AJ, Gload, or his homie Timo. :headshake He may as well have used AJ since he was put in there for defense anyways. Atleast the magic number is 4 and we got our ace tomarrow. Go Get Em is all I can say. Geez, i'm so depressed.

What we need is for Podsednik to get back on track and fast. He's only got 5 hits in the last 23 at bats and even though Iguchi's numbers are down when Pods gets on base cause he has to sacrifice him over, Iguchi's batting avg. is .294 with runners on and .273 with bases empty. People have to get on for him.

It's also odd cause even Hawk and DJ were saying the same thing and they usually back Ozzie up so something must be going on if they are not agreeing with him, even on the air.

I think the some of the guys got used to getting a lot of days off earlier in the year and now it seems they are playing every day. Like Everett, he was platooning with Frank for a part of the season and was rotating some times with Timo at DH and now it seems like he is exhausted and his bat swing is terribly slow. The point is the season is wearing on all the guys. It seems Crede and Paulie are connecting on their swings the most, probably cause they are used to playing without a break.

If we make the playoffs I'd like to play the Angels the most out of the playoff probables, mostly because we start with 2 here and it'd be better for us since we don't play well in the west coast plus we get an extra game at home. And especially if Bartolo comes into the playoffs on the wrong note (he pitched badly against the D-rays and they are pushing his start up to three day rest, so if he pitches badly again it would not be good for him and their opening starter).

Hey the Hawks beat the Blue Jackets today and the Bulinwall won his first preseason game of this year. YAY! B)

He's play badly right now but we can't rely on the others. He's got to get out of his funk and fast.

Ozzie may not be the best manager and does make a lot of controversial moves and says a lot of things people don't like but it would suck if Ozzie left this organization after only 2 years.(of course in the non player role)
