  1. Is there a site where I can listen to the game online? I've tried Freebaseballradio.com going to the Score, but it is talk radio.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 24, 2012 -> 01:18 AM) Hah. I just don't like how every episode is a story within itself. I prefer shows that don't start with a story/case, and then resolve it at the end of the hour. I think my buddy told me that S3 breaks away from that structure, but I'm still a the beginning of S2. Let me just put it this way, it took me almost 3 weeks to get through 1 season. It took me about 3 days to get through the first 2 seasons of Breaking Bad, and about a week to go through the first 4 seasons of Dexter. I get to the end of each episode and I rarely find myself saying "Oh s***, what is going to happen next!". I usually just watch the show when I am bored in my apartment and want to kill some time. FX shows tend to do that sometimes until they grow a little bit. I know the Shield started the same way.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 23, 2012 -> 01:53 PM) Albert Breer ‏ @AlbertBreer Bears RB Marion Barber announces retirement. Covered him in Dallas. Probably one of the 10 strangest football players I've ever been around. Really? How come?

  5. Its amazing how quick everyone turned from "Pay the man," to "shut up Forte"
  6. QUOTE (OsweGo-Go Sox @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 05:35 PM) I'm very sorry. I asked for it. It will be nice to have a 2nd favorite team. Yeah I know, theyre ugly.
  7. I got a Marlins hat for Christmas. Hopefully MB pitches at Wrigley this year so I can combine it with my Buehrle Sox jersey.
  8. I look at our top 3 salaries and it makes me want to cry
  9. I miss the Fatburger since it closed. Used to love their burgers. I would also miss Al' Beef, Portillos, Gino's East, and the Italian Villa.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 1, 2012 -> 08:16 AM) Hey MTV, don't be afraid to make new Dome challenges. And God, Paula is so nasty. I know I say it every tear but needs repeating. For somebody that was holding out so long because she had a boyfriend, she didn't seem to show a lot of remorse afterwards. If I had a girlfriend who was going to be on an MTV reality show, I would end it right there. I seriously wonder the percentage is that goes into the Real World or a Challenge in a relationship and cheats. I would think it has to be over 70%. Must suck to have to watch that from tv.
  11. I still don't understand why being a "homer" is a negative for local broadcasters. Only Chicago listens to him, he is not broadcasting for ESPN or FOX. I like having an announcer that roots for the team along with me. There are times when his one-sidedness bothers me, but its still better than having a lot of other guys out there.

  13. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Feb 7, 2012 -> 11:28 AM) Never been a big fan. What I've heard off the new album was pretty generic and not real impressive IMO. Yeah I know the first single has been bashed since the album has been out because it is being considered the worst song on the cd. Overall, the cd sounds like their old stuff to me, which I am a fan of.
  14. Just picked up the new Van Halen album. Its pretty awesome.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 11:39 AM) This would take The slut from the Shield whom has Raylan's baby inside her is Raylan's ex-wife, who in season 1 was married to a fat turd, who left that fat turd in season 2 because of money and lying problems (women don't like their men losing money, and they don't like being lied to), in the end, she couldn't resist Raylan's meat. Speaking of unable to resist Raylan's meat, Ava Crowder banged him for a bit in season 1. She was married to a Crowder, but not Boyd, prior to the series, and shot his ass. Boyd came to kill her in the first episode of the series and Raylan shot Boyd. Ava's basically a whore. Now she and Boyd are lovie dovie. Lots of Crowder stuff was in season 1. I'm tired of typing. There's lots more characters and they're pretty much all intertwined. The old dude who was hanging out with the cripple from Friday Night Lights (not 6) is Raylan's dad. Also great s*** about him in seasons 1 and 2. Read wikipedia for more http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justified_(TV_series)#Main_cast Watch seasons 1 & 2. Great show. The girl from the Shield, was she the one with the dog? FX recycles actors so much its crazy. I enjoy how they keep blowing up Lem on stuff
  17. QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 01:15 PM) Considering the 1980s Bears ONLY won 1 Super Bowl and that team was vastly superior to anything the the Bears have fashioned since, it's not a shock Brian won't win a Bowl with the Bears. The history of the NFL is scattered with brilliant players with no championships. In the end, the Bears during the Brian era simply put were not good enough. I feel bad for him, then I think of Jim Kelly...

Before Napster I was the owner of over 150 cds that I bought starting in 1992 when I started buying cds. I have bought maybe 3 cds in the past 2 years. I am including what I bought digitally on iTunes, so I don't mean physical cds, I am just talkng about music that I paid for. Its not that I am illegally downloading songs, I just used things like You Tube, Spotify, Pandora, etc to hear songs I want to hear.

It actually encouraged me that she is smart enough to ask for help when she doesn't know something

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 17, 2012 -> 10:11 PM) Justified added some real solid actors this year. Detective Quinn from Dexter is a badass. Great first episode of the season!
  21. Haha. Well if Tebow puts up a winning percentage like he did this year, I'll take his s***ty stats for wins any day. Tebow, however, did not play the entire season and was much more inconsistent than Smith. The teams he played during his streak were a joke too. I'd take his performance against the Steelers any day though.
  22. Alex Smith has shown that he can manage a game this year. Don't turn the ball over and score enough points to win. Last week he proved he can be clutch and make big plays when they need them. It doesn't matter how many yards he threw for, or how many touchdowns he threw for. He is winning games.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 01:24 PM) Your GPA means pretty much nothing, fwiw. That's not necessarily true. There are a lot of things that mean more than GPA such as experience, internships, major, what school you went to etc. However, most places look for a GPA over 3.0 for an entry level position. Not a big difference between 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, etc. (besides for some internships). After your first job in the field, GPA will mean basically nothing
  25. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 10:20 AM) I'm not sure about that...their defense is definitely a vulnerability but this offense of theirs rivals almost any they have had other than the 2007 one... Their offense looks as good as ever, but their defense is at the bottom of the league. The big difference for me this year is that there are a lot more high powered offenses than usual. I think a lot more teams had the capability to keep up with NE than in the past, but most of them have been eliminated already.
