  3. QUOTE(Ndgt10 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:49 PM) Is BA the worst hitter in baseball? No. I believe Bobby Howry is.
  4. Double steal? Would take the DP away.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) This is a serious question for my fellow Sox fans....are you more surprised when Anderson gets a hit than any other Sox player in the last 10-20 years? I'm surprised when I see a hard hit ball. Whether it's a hit or not.
  6. Heh. That figures. AJ, Uribe and Anderson among the leaders in swinging at the 1st pitch.
  7. Zach Miner lasts only 4 innings for the Tigers. 3-1 Red Sox in the 5th.
  8. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:23 PM) BA is lucky that Buerhle pitched over it. THat was terrible backup. Jogging over then lunging for it with one hand. Cmon BA, if you can't hit, you gotta be in the right position. I believe you are over-reacting. JOE CREDE!!!!!
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:16 PM) Is that 17 straight Sox batters retired? I can't recall if a Sox hitter reached in the 8th inning last night. I'm pretty sure that was 17 straight.
  10. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 12:39 PM) Wait a second... why not bring back up Boone... at least he has more major league experience... So does Montero.
  11. QUOTE(My Dixie Normus @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 11:07 AM) I made sure that I was a good ambassador for the Sox. I complimented him on his team and gave him some tips on what to do while in town and where to eat at the park. I even told him when to get to the box office for the release of the VIP seats on Saturday. At the end, I wished him good luck with the rest of the season and that I hoped he enjoyed his stay in Chicago. I am pretty sure it was not the welcome he was expecting. Very classy.
  12. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 11:04 AM) oh dear lord, not montero again. Why us? Why now? I have a weird feeling he may turn out ok.
