  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 07:03 PM) Do they still have Ichi-Rolls? The sushi concoction named after Suzuki, think they sold them in the OF when I was last there around 2003 or 2004. Yup. Didn't try them but I saw the sign. Curious to see what it's like when they open and close the roof. I'll have to go back when it's one of those on and off rainy days....which is quite common in the spring here.
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 06:55 PM) Which one? Good, by the standards of someone who actually eats that way and not just some hipster? Price seems reasonable, considering I saw a tuna sandwich at the new Marlins park was $13... Glad to hear you guys enjoyed yourselves! What is the big local beer there? Yes it was delicious. The hot dog special had caramelized onions, daikon, and shredded carrot. They also had a food court area that had a Thai place, Mexican, sushi, a standalone Starbucks, and a few other joints. The beer vendors walking the aisles sold the standard macro brews but I grabbed a few Elysians, the local brew. And yes the aisle vendors also offered those. I didn't have to go hunt them down at a kiosk. Here's another photo with the little one:
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 06:40 PM) Hey Sqwert...what did ya have to eat?
  4. Patton Oswalt's bit about NYC from his recent Comedy Central special was quite funny.
  5. I knew I'd bring good luck. What a great game, great weather and an awesome ball park.
  6. Quick check in. This park is awesome. I'll keep sending the good karma to our boys.
  7. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 10:45 AM) If you bring the same vibes you bring to the game thread, I am sure they'll be nothing but positive... Hey now. When was the last time I posted something negative in a game thread? I've turned over a new leaf out here.
  8. I love that the Seattle Times has the perfect game as their main headline.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 21, 2012 -> 08:32 PM) Great, great post. Glad to see Ozzie and Walker both doing well. More evidence that you are not a real Sox fan. We pitch a perfect game and you come in here to praise Ozzie and Greg Walker instead of chiming in on today's game and joining the post game thread.
  10. Of course I had to go to some kid's birthday party today with the wife and baby and was forced to get tickets for tomorrow's game instead. Daggummit!
  11. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 12:49 PM) I'll be at the game....GO SOX!!!! I'll be there Sunday? How about you?

    Still looking for a staff auditor here in Seattle. Anyone want to work for me?
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 09:21 PM) Can they retroactively take his name off the ballot? I don't think they've started the printing process quite yet, have they? There has to be some kind of deadline when the names are submitted, maybe the 1st of May or the 15th? Whose name would they put on the ballot then? Every team has a representative for each position. The other Brent?
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2012 -> 07:57 PM) Morel should take 5 minutes to apologize to each individual that was at the game tonight.

    2012 TV Thread

    LOL at the cartoonish fist fight in Mad Men.
  17. The only magic number I care about is the post season one.
  18. I thought you were a man of God. God said "Thou shalt not kill" as it's one of the 10 most important things a Christian must abide by. George Zimmerman admittedly killed someone. Turned out to be an unarmed child. What commandment did the unarmed child break that day? Figured a devout Christian would be more up in arms about the evil act that Zimmerman committed as opposed to towing some political party line. But that's Christianity for you*! "The rules only apply when we want them to!" * As practiced by the far right
  19. QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 02:40 PM) A co-worker of mine bought that Samsung Note and had it at work today. It's way too big to be a phone....if you remember all the people making fun of what an iPad would look like if they put a phone in it, that is pretty much what the Note looks like. I have no interest in getting it but I could see it being useful with bluetooth.
