  1. Rex, love that song bizness that you posted. I think I posted it on facebook when I first heard it. I'll have to give the album a listen.
  2. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 01:32 PM) "TEBOW IS GREAT. LEAD THEM TO VICTORY." He's so gritty! Just finds ways to win.
  3. How about the Broncos win in triple OT by a score of 3-0. A stat line of 1 for 42, 18 Yds, 6 INT, and 2 fumbles for Tebow to go with that win. And then they lose 49-0 next week.
  4. I may vomit all week long if Denver wins. The Tebow coverage, regardless of how he plays, will be excruciatingly painful.
  5. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 01:22 PM) Romney is going to get pounded over and over for his CONSTANT flip-flops. Apparently during the debate today he switched in a matter of seconds from having never seen one of his SuperPAC attack ads to having seen one. http://www.buzzfeed.com/nycsouthpaw/mitt-r...ls-a-rick-james
  6. QUOTE (That funky motion @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 10:55 AM) I use Abt for everything. Great customer service and will match any price. The only problem is they one have one location. And they don't sell chicken.
  7. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 10:31 AM) I respectfully disagree. I think if they can get the money to work that Luck getting to learn from Manning will make him a better player, period. I also dont know about Luck being the most NFL ready QB ever. There is always the chance that elite college players will bust. What has made Peyton Manning so great has been his preparation, knowledge of the game and his ability to read defenses. Those are things that can be learned and it would be invaluable for Luck to have a season or two with Manning to learn as much as he can. Also, if they keep Manning and he comes back strong and looks to have more left in his career then his value might be higher then it would be right now with the question marks about his injury. Peyton Manning essentially carried that franchise on his back for a decade and brought them from a bottom feeder to a perennial contender. I know its a business and a what have you done for me lately league but the Colts will not be better off without Peyton Manning. If they think he can still play (which Id hope they do if they pay him that roster bonus) then they might be better off trading the rights to Luck and loading up on picks. Agreed. Perfect example would be to look at the Rodgers/Favre situation.
  8. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 08:40 AM) i read some of it, before becoming thoroughly bored with his monotonous liberal "observations". it really was a pointless read. Liberal? Andrew is pretty well balanced and definitely leans conservative on economic issues. FYI, he is gay in case you didn't know. That's why he may have a differing view on social issues than a typical right winger.
  9. Andrew Sullivan's live blog of tonight's debate was thoroughly entertaining.
  10. And yes, I am that guy that wishes injury upon other players. Especially on teams I despise like Miami.
  11. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 11:48 AM) Been watching some Heat games and there's just something that really makes me nervous about this year's LBJ, dude looks like he's on a mission, he added a post up game and looks terrifyingly great so far Next NBA Finals he gets to (most probably this year) he's gonna tear it up so he could shut up the naysayers after last year's Finals. The Heat are his team, forget about Wade. If that team stays healthy they shouldn't have too much trouble winning it all. I don't see the Bulls offense doing much in a 7 game series against Miami. Too many stretches of godawful shooting. That and once LBJ covers Rose it's pretty much over.
  12. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jan 5, 2012 -> 05:26 PM) Did you guys know that Al Gore has a 'news' network? I didn't. But I guess Keith Olbermann works there and is causing trouble. No I didn't know that but I do know that he has been involved with Current TV for many years, an entertainment network on basic cable which happens to have a one hour political opinion show hosted by Keith Olbermann.
  13. QUOTE (Tex @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 06:54 AM) He is reassessing his campaign. I believe he is checking his major donors and seeing how far the money will last. he needs to stick around for a couple more primaries to set himself up as a serious VP candidate. Wrong. He will be our next President. After all, he has never lost an election!
  14. Finally got around to watching The Prestige. Not bad.

QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 08:19 PM) Don't know if anyone else watches it, but I'm looking forward to the 2nd season of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret. Me too. The show is far from perfect but entertaining nonetheless.
  16. I'll have to agree with you on this one greg.
  17. Time for the gym to start sucking for the next few weeks until the noobs stop coming.
