Can we for once just beat the f***ing s*** out of this sorry ass Royals team and sweep them into the gutter? Is that too much to ask?

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Aug 12, 2011 -> 10:14 AM) Is 20 million tiny? 40 million? At what point do you become concerned? When did you perform your census on Muslims that illustrates specifically how many of them hate us and want violent deaths bestowed upon us?

This patent made me laugh.

Nice to come home and see a win but I don't think we can win the division with a pitcher hitting as our DH. And yes, Dunn is essentially a pitcher at the plate. He will not improve this year and that's very evident at this point.

Mysterious company dissolves after giving $1 million to pro-Romne

This whole "f*** everyone else while I pat myself on the back" discussion is getting a bit tired. -
Someone that would flaunt that type of image obviously has disdain for people that don't have the same beliefs as their own. That person wouldn't seem to be very Christian according to the teaches of Jesus.

LBJ had Kennedy killed, believed Jackie

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 11, 2011 -> 10:04 AM) I'm sure they have, but it doesn't make it right no matter how many people do it. That's mob mentality. I'm never said it was right. Just pointing out that it's something that's common. -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 11, 2011 -> 09:59 AM) It means it is a person who would absolutely take advantage of a situation for personal gain at the expense of other people, even those who are supposed to be the most important to them. In the case of an athlete, it just makes them a lowlife. In the case of politicians it takes on a whole other level because those people are the ones making decisions as to what is best for the entire country. If you can't trust them not to screw over their wife and kids how they hell are you going to trust them to not screw you over? Adultery is quite common. I'd bet a large % of politicians you have personally voted for have committed it. -
QUOTE (The Baconator @ Aug 10, 2011 -> 10:36 PM) Was it about these guys. I swear, I read that whole thing half expecting it to end with "none of this really happened" but really wanting it to be true. My obvious reactions (as was predicted in the article) was why don't they just become cops. But yeah, really cool story (again, if it's along the same lines, haven't seen the documentary). The Dark Guardian was in the film. Didn't recognize the others. Check out the documentary if you get a chance. Really cool stuff. The New York Initiative were pretty bad ass.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 11, 2011 -> 08:00 AM) This logic really pisses me off. This country has engaged in reckless spending for decades, heck almost 100 years now. When you finally get one group who is willing to stand up and try and stop them, THEY get victimized. Seriously this is akin to the person who takes the keys from the really drunk guy. The really drunk guy gets pissed off because he is "OK to drive home" and "I have been much worse than this before" Logically he should be pissed off at himself for being stupid and endangering himself. Instead he is pissed off at the person who tries to stand up and save him. Should we be cutting now? No. But pretending we don't have a debt problem and demonizing the people who are trying to keep us from turning into Greece or Spain is just short sighted and partisan politics at its worst. But the left wing has their media marching orders, and they are going to keep pounding home that spending money we don't have is good, even though we can see what is happening around the world to countries that are steps past where we are now, yet are on the road too if we keep up our spending ways. No it would be nicer if the left wing would just put their keys in someone else's hands and sober up, but they aren't about to do that. Which is why the Tea Party was even allowed to come into existence, let alone prominence, despite the media slander sessions. Why is it all of a sudden the #1 problem when this has been an issue for some time? How this is more important than job creation is beyond me. If the exact same scenario was occurring but McCain had one the election, I guarantee this wouldn't be issue #1. How many times was the debt ceiling raised with no outcry in the previous administration? 7 or 8 times? This is all a farce. -

QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Aug 10, 2011 -> 09:34 PM) Navy SEALs killed Osama. Obama did not do that. Disrespect towards the military? How about confusing Medal of Honor winners SFC Jared Monti and SSG Sal Giunta? And then not referring to them by their ranks? That's just one, and you'll think it's small because you're a raging leftist who hasn't served. To me and to my brothers in arms, that's not small. And yet you'll blindly support all the douche bag, right-wing, draft dodging, chicken hawks with haste. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 10, 2011 -> 07:03 PM) Name? It's called Superheroes. It's not about comic ones but actual people that patrol streets in superhero costumes. Quite fascinating.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Aug 9, 2011 -> 06:28 PM) @NotHawk Hawk Harrelson We've scored all these runs the last two days and not a wild pitch in the bunch. Offense is completely out of sync. That's priceless.

What the hell is going on? Are the fans booing Danks or something?
-
About a week ago our home and road records were almost the same. We get our ass handed to us by two of the best teams in baseball and we're making up reasons as to why we are a mediocre team at home? Booing fans wouldn't have been cited as a reason for anything had this question came up before Boston came here.
