  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 11:37 AM) You should try MX Player. Mobo is so old. A video player with Ads? Pass
  2. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 19, 2013 -> 07:54 AM) Question about ripping movies and putting them on an Android device. One thing I love about iOS is that you can import ripped movies/TV shows into a dedicated video playback program that organizes the videos. However, on Android, i don't see a way to do this. If I create a "Movies" folder, it shows up in the Gallery app. Is there any way to have these show up in the 'Play Movies & TV" or some other app that organizes them? Just install something like this video player and it doesn't matter where you save them on the device.
  3. Trying to figure out my top 10 albums of the year.
  4. No Thursday or Saturday games this late in the season? Lame
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 12:52 PM) I like your pictures of your Mountain hikes, FWIW. Your vegetarian hot dog stands, not so much Hide my posts. It's not that difficult to do.
  6. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Dec 18, 2013 -> 12:45 PM) What is the point of having facebook if Im not going to become part of the facade? It's not all that much different than posting things in this forum to a bunch of strangers. Why should we care about the concert you went to or your thoughts on George Zimmerman?
  7. I don't think I overuse Facebook (maybe others think otherwise) but at my age when all of my friends are married and have kids it's easier to keep in touch. Especially since so many of them have moved to other cities over the years. I'm not a big fan of phone calls and communicating through email so those friends who are too good for Facebook have sadly fallen off my radar over time. I don't remember their birthdays or what their kids are up to. It's really not that hard to create a group on that site to share pics of the kids and to occasionally catch up with friends and relatives.
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 17, 2013 -> 02:27 PM) Alshon definitely wasn't prepared and he definitely didn't care. Or maybe he's just a super boring person. QUOTE (Greyone @ Dec 17, 2013 -> 02:41 PM) I think Alshon is very shy, or quiet. They had one of the female reporters on CSN talk to him, and she mentioned that she was happy he opened up to her, because he is a quiet guy in the locker room, or something along those lines. I'd take a quiet, reserved guy over a Deon Sanders type of personality any day.
  9. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 17, 2013 -> 01:38 PM) So because Jay looked good means EVERY QB will respond the same... He's a better QB than Cutler, they're fighting for their playoff lives, and Pittsburgh is not very good. Heck, Tomlin may give some of his bench guys more reps since their season is over, just to see what he has in them.
  10. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 17, 2013 -> 01:18 PM) I doubt you'll see the All Pro version of Rodgers coming off an injury and weeks of inaction. He'll be rusty and trying to get up to real NFL game speed. Jay Cutler looked pretty darn good after coming off an injury and weeks of inaction.

QUOTE (Tex @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 11:08 AM) Really enjoying the weather this week. We should be hitting high 70s low 80s by the end of the week. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Should be like that everywhere in a few years. #climatechange
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:20 AM) Every one of those I think could be accomplished except I really would worry about how you'd control Wilson right now. I haven't seen as much of the Seahawks as I'd like but from everything I've read the numbers he's put up this year are bordering on ridiculous. 114 QB rating at home this year. And I'd imagine they'd be the ones controlling the clock with the Bears' poor run defense.
  13. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 09:39 AM) The 2011-12 Giants were the 26th worst defense - so top 6 worst defense - and they won the Superbowl. It's a matter of getting hot. No, I don't believe the Seahawks will lose at home in the playoffs, but saying "it won't happen" is absolutely wrong. I certainly don't think it's 100% lock that Seattle makes it to the Super Bowl but let's not get all 2006 St. Louis Cardinals in here either. To me injuries and penalties will be the biggest factor to take down the Seahawks. They're up there as one of the highest penalized teams in the NFL. That could bite them in a crucial situation and cost them a game if they're not careful.
  14. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 09:06 AM) Nobody said they would win, nobody said they werent flawed. But hey, if you want to keep your bandwagoning fandom going by saying "E'RYBODYS GOTS NO CHANCES" then go ahead. Aww, I make poor little Kyle upset. Boohoo.
  15. I guess you can take solace in the "hey ya never know" argument when you have a deeply flawed team.
  16. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 08:59 AM) Tampa Bay almost did it. Anything is possible. They weren't healthy and they still won. Half the O-line was out for most of the season. Now that they're back, they're steamrolling over most teams. Moot point as teams in the top 5 worst defenses don't go far in the playoffs...if the Bears even get in.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 08:53 AM) I'm a bigger Seahawks fan than Bears fan and I'd pick the Hawks at home 99 times out of 100 but there's always that one time(the little giants taught me that), you just never know. The only way I see it happening is because of a key injury or two on the Seahawks. You don't go into the home of the top rated defense and beat them. Not when they're healthy.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 08:44 AM) The Broncos were a lock to beat the Ravens last year. Crazy s*** happens in the playoffs I realize anything can happen but the Bears winning at Seattle is a pipe dream. Keep getting excited about squeaking by the likes of Cleveland.
  19. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 08:02 AM) They'll have to score their way through the playoffs. Can you do that on the road at Seattle? No way. Seattle is insane at home. They destroyed both New Orleans and San Francisco here. Least points allowed, least yards allowed and they get a ton of turnovers on their defense.

    I am legend, y'all.
  21. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 04:54 PM) Green Bay should have been out of it for a while now, but s***ty teams like Dallas, Atlanta, and Minnesota have let them come back late in games and stay in the race. The Bears also have a handful of come from behind victories in the 4th quarter.
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 04:34 PM) He was joking since we were 4-0 vs AFC North teams Doh! Didn't catch the AFC part of his post.
  23. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 04:17 PM) Bears clinched the AFC North today though, right? No. Lions can tie the Bears for record tomorrow and they have the tie breaker by beating Chicago twice.
  24. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 13, 2013 -> 12:16 PM) The second one was by no means deserving of an interception, it would have been a seriously amazing play. Regardless, every QB has INTs dropped by the defense. And given we're talking about accuracy, that play wouldn't have affected his accuracy rating I was just trolling StrangeSox.
