QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 09:10 AM) And I think Cutler is a 100+ QB rating guy with Trestman and this line. Hard to put up those numbers when you're always dinged up.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 09:08 AM) Do you think Josh McCown is a 100+QB rating type of guy or is he the 77 he's shown in his career? Under Trestman he's probably in the 90 range if he keeps playing. As a lifelong Raiders fan I saw what he did with the journeyman Rich Gannon.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 09:04 AM) Anyone advocating dumping Cutler for a stop-gap in McCown and drafting a QB late in the first round is insane. We finally have an offense full of talented players, and you want to rely on a journeyman QB who's playing the best he's ever played but is in his mid-30's or a rookie late-1st QB? The Bears have one of the worst defenses in football right now. How do you address that if you have to dump a ton of money on a QB that's up and down and relatively injury prone?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 08:58 AM) This is the kind of mentality that got the Bears stuck in a "Havent had a good QB since Sid Luckman" drought. I think the D can be fixed and Cutler can be paid. The question is, does Cutler want to get paid like Stafford? If that is the case, then they will be forced to let Cutler walk. I don't. There's a salary cap in the NFL.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 10, 2013 -> 08:46 AM) How much better could Cutler play? And is that upgrade more important than upgrading the defense? I have to agree with you. McCown is playing out of his mind. The defense is atrocious so you might as well use that Cutler money to try to patch up that side of the ball. McCown can obviously get things done for the next year or so until you figure out your long term QB plans.

In your honor, I will send you a poorly fashioned cane with an inscription of your 20,000th post.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 6, 2013 -> 03:08 PM) Are you opposed to buildings? Cars? Pesticides? Cats? Electric transmission? Fossil fuel extraction? . Remarkable how that gets to pretend to be a talking point against wind farms when they're actually taking strides to minimize it, whereas few to none of the others have to do so, unless you've seen some sort of effort to protect buildings from bald eagle strikes other than clear-cutting the forest nearby. ^The definition of PWNED

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 5, 2013 -> 06:57 PM) He lead a mass bombing campaign across the country before getting sentenced to life for it and then became mostly the opposite of what he was. Then I guess our forefathers were terrorists too for taking on revolutionary actions. *shrugs*
-
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 5, 2013 -> 06:35 PM) I think his life as a terrorist is much too easily forgotten but he he still managed to make more good of his reign than bad. I'm ashamed to say I didn't follow his political career too closely. What terrorist acts did he commit?

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 09:57 AM) I still watch it, but I think anyone with half a brain knows that Walking Dead is one of the most poorly-written shows on TV. ^This I didn't even know 90% of the character's names by the end of season 1. EDIT: Talking to my wife I'd refer to them as Rick, Lori, stupid kid, black dude, wimpy old woman, asian dude, etc.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 09:57 AM) Because you are a poopy face. This is true, but still.

This reminds me of Ice Cube's "Jackin' for Beats" but using nothing but 80s top 40 music. Lyrics are NSFW

Who cares if someone doesn't love a show as much as you do? Why take it so personally? *shrugs*

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 08:12 AM) House of Cards Season 2 goes up February 14. Gotta finish S1 still. Have 4 more. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 4, 2013 -> 08:40 AM) That's awesome - can't wait. Likewise. That show is stellar. Brian, finish season 1...it's well worth it.

I'm also curious to find out whether Tyrese finds out that Carol trained the kids to shoot and kill. If it wasn't for her doing that, he'd be dead.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 01:33 PM) Am I missing something? Was Herschel really that much of a fan favorite? That's multiple people here who have said that and my girlfriend surprised me by saying that when he died too. I didn't really like him much at all, I actually found him to be kind of annoying. The "fan favorite" label is strange to me. He's one of the few character's I could somehow connect with. I liked his moral center and calming demeanor. He seemed like someone I'd really like to know in real life. Most of the other characters are a bunch of assholes, pardon my french.

I honestly struggle with all of the crap Carrie has done on that show with no repercussions whatsoever. It's a hurdle that keeps me from loving the show. That and the Brody family crap.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 06:15 AM) ESPN spent most of that game last night drooling over how loud the stadium was, but couldn't be bothered to mention that like half the Seahawks team has tested positive for PED's. Their two starting cornerbacks were suspended for the game and they still held Brees to 147 passing yards. via

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 08:40 AM) I got 7 TVs between Friday and yesterday. That sounds crazy to me.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 06:53 AM) If you are into a movie like that, then sure. Kind of silly to call it a bad franchise when you never watched one, though. I've never seen one of these films but just pulled up 3 random ones on Rotten Tomatoes. 27%, 36% and 36% So yeah, bad franchise.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 2, 2013 -> 07:48 PM) Aside from the core of Android, there is almost nothing open about it. As in they offer developer edition devices and nexus phones where you can load completely customized versions of the OS? Yeah, not very open.
