  1. Anyone else check out the red band trailer for Spring Breakers? At work so I can't pull it up to post here. EDIT: Link at this site
  2. I'd be all over this if I still lived in Chicago. Good luck with the charity!

  6. Went to see Les Mis with the wife last night. Meh.
  7. QUOTE (qwerty @ Feb 15, 2013 -> 09:49 PM) True troll right here. http://www.imdb.com/user/ur7969168/comment...ful&start=0 I have tears in my eyes after reading through some of these. Hilarious
  8. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Feb 1, 2013 -> 10:59 AM) don't be that guy in the gym that does shrugs wrong...do NOT roll your shoulders, this is a straight up/down movement, all rolling your shoulders does is mess up your rotator cuff. LOL I've always found that to be the most bizarre thing when I came across someone doing that in the gym. Why not just do a similar odd rotation for your other exercises, like curls?
  9. What's more startling is what appears to be a UFO in the background of the one image captured.

    QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 14, 2013 -> 06:59 PM) Im liking the Americans, but those 100s were new Benjis not old benjis. I thought I spotted a recent model pick up truck in the background in one of the Philadelphia scenes.

    3 episodes in and I'm hooked on The Americans. Solid acting by everyone on the show and the writing is quite good. I thought I'd get annoyed by the marriage stuff but they've played it quite well.
  12. QUOTE (ptatc @ Feb 12, 2013 -> 01:38 PM) Also, that no matter what someone will rip every organization/person. Not sure what this means. Was there or was there not a massive child molestation scandal that has rocked the catholic church for decades?
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 12, 2013 -> 09:54 AM) No need to insult people like that, jeez. Just making a comparison where no matter what happens, there's a group of people who will never find any fault with a person/organization even though the evidence is there.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 12, 2013 -> 08:54 AM) ? I call that the Penn State effect.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 12, 2013 -> 05:15 AM) Just goes to show you how truly great John Paul II was. Didn't he have a big hand in the child molestation cover up?
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 03:16 PM) I wear yoga pants 24/7
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 03:11 PM) A 5" phone fits in any normal slack/jean pants pocket without any issue. Yeah but this is Rock's look:
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 03:05 PM) Yeah but most of us dont wear overalls. How do you all bail your hay?
  19. But we're talking about normal size people. Your iphone wouldn't fit well in my toddler daughter's jeans.
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 02:58 PM) What if one of my requirements was it has to fit in my pocket? My phone is bigger than any iphone and fits in every pocket of every garment of clothing I own.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 02:50 PM) I dont see how any of those requires me to carry a phone any bigger than my iphone. If I want to edit and review documents I need a better device than even my ipad. Of course there is no requirement for anything bigger than your iphone to do those things. You also could cut the iphone screen in half and make the same argument. Fact is, other than making phone calls, a larger screen is more desirable for all of the other non-phone uses. If the average person uses 10-15% of their device time, if that, to actually making phone calls then why focus the physical design to that one aspect?
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 02:29 PM) There has to be options because I use my phone for calls alot more than anything else. I never play games at all. But there's more to it than just games. There's: - texting - ebook - web browsing - email - calendar/appointments - music player - camera/video - weather - social media - notes - "office" type applications (i.e., word doc, spreadsheet, etc.) - GPS/Navigation - banking/finance And that's just a tip of the iceberg. These things are so much more than phones and that's why their size is being mutated to be better suited for a larger suite of uses.

    Last night's "Girls" was the least believable 30 minutes of television ever.
  24. QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 10, 2013 -> 11:41 PM) http://unleashthephones.com/2013/02/10/sony-xperia-z-review/ There's a nice Xperia Z review for your Sqwert. Thanks. I didn't read anything that eliminated it from the running as my next phone. Let' see what the other big hitters unveil in the coming weeks. EDIT: One question. I've always had an on-contract phone. If this one never gets released, could I buy an unlocked one and have it activated it the US? I have no idea how that works since I've always been on Sprint and never had to deal with SIM cards.
