When there's nothing to complain about, people find a reason to complain. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 02:51 PM) Don't want to give up Tyrus, but to Get Kaman...yeah I'd do it. Frankly though I'd rather move Noah than Tyrus in that deal. I was trying to come up with something they might be interested in! -
QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 03:11 PM) Is it? Minaya has been on Javy as much as anyone in the league over the past several years. Are you going to be here all week, Steve? If you compare the two statements, I was basically pointing out that Kenny certainly does not love Javy... especially not after last year. As for Beltran, you'd assuredly have to get that contract partially paid, which I don't believe would be an issue. Maybe even finally get Heilman.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 02:56 PM) 1) Omar Minaya loves Javier Vasquez as much as anyone in baseball, even Kenny Williams. That's like saying Omar Minaya loves bees as much as anyone in "My Girl", including Macaulay Culkin's character.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 02:40 PM) Yeah, I think you exaggerated your point a bit, but I get it....he is basically my favorite player in baseball...let me dream... "On the other side of that page," who do the Mets have that might be worth those three players, Steve? Other than obviously Wright and Santana, who aren't going anywhere? And I don't consider Beltran worth that package, btw. Well, Beltran, Martinez, and another prospect or two and I'd be as happy as a pig in s***.

Seriously, someone tell me how to get ahold of John Paxson. Seriously, we'll take your terrible Mobley contract, here's Drew Gooden, Tyrus Thomas, and Andres Nocioni, you send us Chris Kaman and Mobley. They'd do it, and the Bulls should do it. Why does Pax make such an easy job so hard these days? -
QUOTE (chunk23 @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 09:01 AM) I also beat you guys to this scenario. Post 57 argues otherwise.

QUOTE (rangercal @ Nov 10, 2008 -> 03:33 PM) good point. I'd be worried about trading the farm for any rockies slugger. How about buying low on Jimenez or Francis instead? Francis would be awesome.

That career .803 OPS on the road for Holliday is hilarious.

This team may just be better than expected. -
I think trading Bobby for a solid return would be the smartest thing this organization could ever do.

QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 03:32 PM) I was mostly kidding, but you never know how KW's mind works. I knew you were kidding... I was too!

QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 03:16 PM) KW's trading Dye so that he can get Griffey back! www.GriffeyTalk.com returns!

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 01:24 PM) for someone who couldn't get into oblivion, is fallout 3 worth picking up? I hear that even if you aren't into the main story element that it's still a decent FPS. From IGN. What a great review it got, I might have to rent this bad boy.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 11:01 AM) See my previous post. If you don't want the $4000 from the gov't then it isn't a requirement I hadn't noticed that. They are compensating, I'd have gladly done 2 hours of community service for 4k worth of books and food.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 11:37 AM) Some people dont read green. Some people also don't see color.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 11:30 AM) I know, I just wanted to be clear, that's all. But I typed it in green.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 10:17 AM) She's an idiot, got arrested as she should have, and hopefully will be prosecuted for ag batt. But your "And so it begins..." line is ridiculous. What exactly are you saying is beginning? And who are you applying this to? Obviously he's saying that black people everywhere are going to think they are invincible and raise hell.
-
It's a nice idea, but when I was in college, I was working a lot just to support myself and afford books (and the binge drinking)... 100 hours of community service when you're already paying for the schooling seems like a joke.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 6, 2008 -> 07:54 PM) Coin flips are dumb, had we lost the flip, people would have been b****ing forever about it, period. That.
