  1. QUOTE (HeGone33 @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 12:14 PM) Please elaborate.......... I was considering buying the game, but I was disappointed with last years model. Although, I did play it this weekend and switched the game speed setting to 100 and it was a lot more enjoyable. I just have such a hard time doing all the moves, etc. without running into other players and so on. Well, this year's game has a full tutorial. Yeah, there's a learning curve because it's not just turbo dunk, but it's pretty amazing. The game actually plays at a faster pace (the pace I adjusted 2k8 to)... They finally adjusted so the players play like they should. Not just a bunch of players who take shots when they get a chance... the ball actually cycles through the point guard or main ball handlers, and the stars of the teams are the ones that kick your ass. It's real. D-Rose is awesome, by the way... they made him look so real. Now if only the Bulls had someone who could finish at the rim. Seriously, it's the best sports game I've ever played.
  2. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 01:12 PM) Yo, Steve. Was this meant as a joke? (About politicos' wives, I mean). Of course, dude.
  3. All because I didn't think green was necessary.
  4. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) I'm kind of embarassed to admit this--and it wouldn't make a difference in how I voted in the least--but something about Cindy McCain really makes my skin crawl. Maybe I can't get past an unfounded, rich/Barbie-doll/trophy-second wife stereotype, and that's unfair. I wasn't much of a fan of Nancy Reagan or Tipper Gore either, and Michelle Obama's "proud of her country for the first time" remark was classically stupid, but I really can't wait for this woman to go away. Maybe its the way the McCain camp has cast her as a hypocritical, media-attack dog that is unfair. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/...ia-viciousness/ So what I gather from your post is you hate women who are with politicians?
  5. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 11:41 AM) Are you seriously equating Steve92938745692378569387562 to Barack Obama? I am Barack Obama and I approve this message. Seriously though, it was just a joke.
  6. QUOTE (Cknolls @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 09:52 AM) Since no green, I'm sure you will source this S**tty post. And if not, keep it in the Dem thread. I didn't think green was needed...
  7. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 15, 2008 -> 11:05 PM) Anyways, Alex Rodriguez plays 3B, doesn't need to be traded to be motivated, and he annually puts up better regular season numbers than Manny Ramirez. Alex Rodriguez is easily more valuable than Manny Ramirez.
  8. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 09:27 AM) He may not have wanted to be famous, but the McCain campaign sure did a good job of making sue he was. If he hadn't been mentioned in the debate by McCain and the used in an ad, he'd have been a one day story. Again, who cares? The facts don't matter when it comes to the McCain campaign.
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 09:24 AM) I'd love to see some evidence that the Obama campaign is actually attacking Joe the plumber. (queue Super Mario Bros theme song) Why bother with these posts? It's not going to end until the election declares a winner. The McCain campaign has consistently proven that facts don't matter.
  10. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 04:33 PM) yet nothing from Palin. odd. She should be the most healthy of the 4. Well, that would reveal that she didn't really give birth not so long ago... can't let that cat out of the bag.

    Winamp for mac?

QUOTE (SnB @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 10:25 PM) well i saw that, looking to see if anyone here uses anything like that. Wait, you mean you've heard of Google?
  12. QUOTE (shipps @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) Steve I dont know, you have built up Sons of Anarchy so much that it is going to have to be f***ing unbelievably awesome to meet my expectations.I will watch it eventually though cause I normally have the same opinion on movies as you do. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's currently my second favorite drama on television, just behind Mad Men. Of course, only On Demand, where it's in High Def.
  13. QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 08:30 PM) Canadiens are wearing white at home tonight, the way it f***ing SHOULD BE. I'm really tired of the dark uniforms at home - leave that s*** to football. I couldn't agree more... whites at home is still right to me.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 02:44 PM) yes but Kerry uses pull-ups. Mommy WOW!

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 01:17 PM) You know what's really funny? I was the one who started the question about this. I'm married. And I meant it the opposite of the way all the single guys here think I meant it. What I was saying was, if santo is telling his girlfriend that "she thinks she is religious", and giving her the "I told you so" line... I'm surprised she is still with him. This has been a very interesting, unintentend experiment in the difference between married and single men. That's the way I took it as well...
  16. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Oct 19, 2008 -> 09:21 PM) With all the talk on the fringes of the left about McCain's medical records and such, has anyone looked at Biden's records? he had near-fatal aneurysms in 1988. And he has also not released HIS medical records. Maybe a few MSM papers can remove somebody fro the Joe the Plumber beat and look into it. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/14700.html I would think there is a difference between Pres/Vice President as far as concern goes. If McCain is elected and then dies, the risk is much greater than if Obama is elected and Biden dies. Seriously though, who cares either way? I'm sure if McCain were suffering a cancer relapse he wouldn't run, he does care about the country too much for that...
  17. Sounds rushed to get it out before the election.
  18. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 11:37 AM) is it online or on demand? There's home remodeling going on at my house and it has just screwed all my tv watching up The last 4 episodes are available on demand in high def. I'm sure you can catch up with scenes or see the first few episodes online. I highly recommend it.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 19, 2008 -> 05:53 PM) Ya, there is no way I'd put up with that.
  20. His appearance on SNL this weekend makes everything moot. He was funny re-enacting it while talking to the donkey.
  21. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 11:25 AM) ISU would.... Note the reason...
