  1. QUOTE (rventura23 @ Oct 20, 2008 -> 11:16 AM) 2008 was definitely more fun with the Minnesota win and the one TB win
  2. You all are crazy stupid if you haven't been watching Sons of Anarchy.
  3. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 17, 2008 -> 07:33 PM) I'm not even sure I liek the idea of other teams stealing the Sox idea. Yeah, it wasn't the Sox idea.
  4. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Oct 18, 2008 -> 07:55 AM) I feel bad for the kid, which is still what Kaner is. Plus, its refreshing in this era when most pro-jocks are jaded, self-important assholes to have seen a reaction like this. That said, I'd give him hell for being a wussy if I was a fan of another team, even though he plays like anything but. I wouldn't say he plays like anything but... he still disappears in the defensive end. Just giving him a hard time, he's a special player.
  5. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 17, 2008 -> 07:47 PM) Can I start a thread about Racist Hate Mongering Republicans? That. This thread is for cry-baby McCain backers who know they've lost. Enjoy.
  6. Jeez talk about overreacting. Wahlberg is now not as cool as he was a week ago.
  7. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 17, 2008 -> 02:50 PM) The red phone is my favorite. Me too.
  8. QUOTE (juddling @ Oct 17, 2008 -> 06:34 AM) David Vandelinden, 45, of St. Cloud was identified as the suspect... When your name is so close to Vandelizen'... well, you just get accused of so many things.
  9. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 17, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) Replaced by Bowman I assume? What it looks like will happen... DT will keep his job through this season, and then Brian Burke will be brought in. It makes perfect sense.
  10. http://www.palinaspresident.us/ Pretty funny... click around.
  11. I heard on the news last night that NHL sources expect Tallon to lose his job anytime now.
  12. Republican Candidate John McCain gags as Democratic Candidate Barack Obama sharts in his pants, following Wednesday's final Presidential Debate.
  13. This is just hilarious. The media needs to ignore Joe the Plumber. This is sooooooo the 2008 election.
  14. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 16, 2008 -> 02:46 PM) Well, I do now. Thanks a lot.
  15. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 16, 2008 -> 03:34 PM) Mods. Please delete this thread. Wow. That lady just had her name stamped on an article that tells the world she's blowing random dudes. Classy.
  16. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Oct 16, 2008 -> 03:00 PM) I'm not sure its fair to compare Sutter to Savard in that aspect. The crop of "young guys" that Sutter had was Kyle Calder, Tyler Arnason, and Mark Bell, who were all "prospects" but had nowhere near the talent of Kane or Toews. Now if you were going to take Sutter to task for choking Arnason, I would be right there with you. I dont think Savvy would have ever choked anyone, not cool. Thankfully, I haven't thought about the ABC line in quite some time.
  17. link Do me a favor and rate this one highly, guys.
  18. He's not elite until he consistently pitches into the 8th inning. However, I f***ing love him, and he's close to that.
  19. Well, now that we know that Joe the Plumber is related to a member of the Keating 5, that sure changes things. Let's call him nothing but a glorified actor.
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 16, 2008 -> 11:21 AM) I would suppose it had a lot to do with how the team has looked. Pucks bouncing everywhere, no luck on the powerplay (despite endless amounts of PP talent)... I'm sure there will be a huge hire here somewhere... Isn't Quenneville part of the organization now? I guess I called it.
  21. QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 16, 2008 -> 11:21 AM) THN says it's Quenneville. http://www.thehockeynews.com/articles/1879...uenneville.html I think I deserve some credit (from the other thread). 23. I just heard this... how wild. Scotty Bowman?
  24. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 16, 2008 -> 07:09 AM) So this might be the best possible scenario for the Hawks right now with Khabi playing really well... Could he have some trade value finally? If he plays at the level he did in Tampa for an extended period (say two months or so), there will be teams lining up to add him for the playoff run.
  25. That game last night really will be a turning point. Marty Havlat once again is proving when healthy he's at least a point-per-game player. I hope he stays healthy... that goal was sick.
