Thanks for the recommendations, guys.

Get over it.

I want specific answers to my situation though!

QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 09:12 AM) Walter Sobchak: You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don't wanna know about it, believe me. The Dude: Yeah, but Walter... Walter Sobchak: Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 o'clock this afternoon... with nail polish. These f***ing amateurs... Lovin' it!

QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 09:14 AM) Comcast 191. WTTWD. And they have Jim Lehrer on after it with a fantastic NON-BIASED panel. The guest panel is usually balanced like last night. They had a Dubya speechwriter and a Clinton speechwriter (who was awful). Thanks for the tip. For the final debate, I'll put it on 191.

Unfortunately "none of the above" and "Juan Uribe" were not options.

QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 09:08 AM) or what canocorn just mentioned, PBS. I agree with that. I need a high quality high-def feed!
-
QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 09:08 AM) google (or even soxtalk ) is your best bet. Every station is biased some way or the other. I'm a big-time Obama fan, but I'm starting to get my fill of the bias towards him by a few members who post non-stop around here. Ugh. I can't wait for election night, I'm having a big time party.

Unfortunately, I couldn't change channels because I dvr'd the debate to meet Giada de Laurentiis.

QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 09:04 AM) Dude, nothing is worse than those Frank Luntz FOX focus groups. Youtube it. Those lines piss me off too. Ha. I need to stick with NBC or CBS.

QUOTE (juddling @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 05:55 AM) Why don't people (on both sides) realize this kind of petty sh*t makes them all look bad Yeah, that just makes her look buck nasty.

When McCain pointed to Obama and said "that one over there", I was shocked. We already know you don't respect the guy, but that was just plain stupid. That had to offend a lot of people watching the debate. The funny thing is, he was just trying to be sarcastic and "cutesie", but it came off as condescending... McCain, at least at age 72, is not made for debates.
-
I won't be watching another debate on CNN, by the way. I found myself mesmorized by the moving lines up and down and starting to think "well, Obama's had more times above the neutral line than McCain", and then I thought to myself "what the f*** does this matter, it's like 18 people they have hooked up to these things." Regardless, this debate once again was the same regurgitated stuff, though I believe Obama won simply because of how he handled himself and how he took charge of the debates at time because he had to reply to a few McCain lies.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 10:13 PM) So, what are the fixes? That's classic McCain. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, if I recall correctly, he was asked about the deficit or something that brought up "billions of dollars", and what he would do to fix it. His response? "Peh, a billion dollars? I can have you a billion dollars tomorrow!" The guy is filled with empty answers.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 09:53 PM) Seems like a bit of a snub. Ugh. I love Obama just as much as you, but that was not a snub. McCain patted Obama on the back, and Obama turned around and extended a hand that McCain didn't notice, so he shook Cindy's hand instead. Your ra-ra Obama rooting in these threads is really getting old. Again, I am as big an Obama supporter as anyone, and it's even annoying me. Please take it down a notch and stop looking at things through rose-colored lenses.

Alright, the wife and I are heading to Vegas for our 2nd Anniversary. We are staying mid-strip (recently renovated Mirage) and I was curious if anyone had some recommendations for bars/clubs to hit up. We're 25, so open to anything (other than swinger's clubs you assholes, lol), and we want to really experience the "musts" of Las Vegas. Money isn't much of a concern, and we don't want to hit up things we can do here (ie Second City and ESPN Zone)... we have tickets for a Cirque show and are going to the fake Italy area for dinner, so you needn't recommend those. Anyone have a review of the Pussycat Dolls club? I'm not goin gto kid myself that I'm cool enough and I don't want my wife to flash a boob so we're not going to worry about the Playboy Club, haha. So anyway, let me know what you guys recommend!

QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 03:00 AM) The sooner, the better. This girl does NOT have a magic vagina. She is NOT "supporting" you, she is dating some other dude. Find someone who wants to be with you, or just be on your own until you do. That. There's plenty of fish in the sea, and she's already nailing some other dude up in college while you think about her. Get drunk, and find another girl. This one is dead to you.

What a terrible thing, the Obama campaign doesn't want lies spread.
-
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 03:42 PM) I've been checking out what the McCain campaign is doing lately, they have run by far the dirtiest, most dishonest, presidential campaign in modern US election history. That's no secret.
-
QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 04:08 PM) Maybe he meant defiantly. That'd make for some funny writing.
-
It's definitely, not defiantly.
-
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 7, 2008 -> 02:56 PM) So what is the GOP trying to insinuate with all of this? That if Obama wins he and Ayers will blow up our country? Duh.

I've played up Madden, like it, but I'm more of a hockey fan. If anyone out there has NHL 09 and would like to swap it for Madden, I'm game. XBOX 360, of course

I'd much rather have Furcal play 2B and move the future to his more natural and better fielding position.
