  1. QUOTE (rangercal @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 11:56 AM) we better stop before they tell us to get a room our own thread. PS. This year (with the Brady injury and the Browns looking like Puppies) I have to say NFC>AFC I totally agree... I'd just as soon say NFC East > all of them though, that's one b**** of a division.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 12:42 PM) Nose Bo
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 11:49 AM) Happy Fun Ball Colon Blow
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 11:44 AM) diapers recycle
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 11:40 AM) butts poops
  6. QUOTE (rangercal @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 11:31 AM) Steve Alert! God damn I love ya, AJ.
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 11:23 AM) Giants, are you kidding me? They had enough trouble against the Rams (possibly the worse team in the league, along with the Chiefs). The Eagles/Cowboys are both head and shoulders better than the Giants. The Giants beat the Rams 41-13. I don't care when the points were scored, that's not having trouble.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 09:51 AM) Baldelli cant really play the field very often and is really best suited as a DH, he also cannot play on consecutive days due to his disease. So basically you have a platoon DH with possible sporatic every several days OF duty. Pretty crappy player to acquire really. Color me corrected...
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 08:52 AM) If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it really make a sound? ^^^
  10. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 09:45 AM) Why is this in the Republican thread? Is P Diddy a GOP'er? The topic was getting young blacks to vote, Diddy did a good job of this and raised turnout four years ago.
  11. QUOTE (G&T @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 09:28 AM) So Palin can't pose for magazine covers? Because the Obamas haven't been on any right? Ha, you're arguing with Lindsay Lohan. You should be ashamed of yourself for giving her opinion a second thought.
  12. Hillary dealt with it for 9 months, why can't Palin?
  13. I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really can't wait for the debates!
  14. I love Diddy... where's he at this year with his Vote or Die?
  15. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Sep 16, 2008 -> 08:36 AM) So, is Lohan officially a lesbian yet? I need to get my mental imagery correct. Yeah, word has it she's getting married to that chick within a year.
  16. QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 08:48 PM) lovie and hester need to watch how andy reed uses him ...though he is a complete idiot and was easily a fumble And then they need the clone of Donovan McNabb to join the Bears.
  17. QUOTE (BearSox @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 10:32 PM) Just dreaming about my ideal scenario for next year... trade for Figgins, sign Hudson and Baldelli: 1. Figgins, 3B 2. Hudson, 2B 3. Quentin, LF 4. Dye, RF 5. Thome, DH 6. Konerko, 1B 7. Ramirez, SS 8. Pierzynski, C 9. Swisher/Baldelli, CF I'm so on board with that it's ridiculous. QUOTE (Ron @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 11:19 PM) You'd really want Baldelli? I'm scared off by his mitochodrial disorder. I have been a proponent of acquiring Baldelli for some time, and though that disorder really hurt him for awhile, he's come back strong and seems to have put that in the rearview mirror, hitting .281 with a .349 OBP. He'd be an excellent 4th OF to get about 400 at bats and backup all OF positions (and if he really impresses possibly supplant Swish).
  18. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 11:52 PM) Dream scenario: Us: 2/4 NYY 2/3 KC 1/3 MINN 2/3 Cle Them 2/3 Cle 1/4 TB 2/3 Chi 2/3 KC Win division by 1.5, no tigers game, no 1 game playoff. Why would your dream scenario include losing a series to Minnesota?
  19. We have a rough road ahead. I'd like to go ahead and win some games and stop praying the Twins lose to stay in first!
  20. QUOTE (BearSox @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 09:51 PM) I'd be all for trading Jenks, especially if we can get the type of package the Rangers got for Urbina a couple years ago. I know Jenks is a fan favorite around here, but face the facts people, Jenks is not the same pitcher he was in 05 and 06. Unless you have some of the nastiest breaking stuff in the league (which he doesn't), a straight as an arrow low-mid 90's fastball will not get the job done. I'm still wondering how he has an ERA under 4 this year. Plus, there's those health concerns with him and the fact he has a screw in his elbow. I wouldn't invest any type of big money on him. Two things: 1) Bobby is better than he was 2 years ago... there's no question that Jenks is one of the best closers in the game. 2) I'd still have no problem trading him for the right package.
  21. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 15, 2008 -> 05:55 PM) Its already pretty deep when you added a headline to an article that had no connection to any reality in the article. Seriously. How do you make that leap? Not sure if you are aware, but, there has never been a black President (or any racial or gender minority President). So, yeah, its a transformative event. I'd say that's an apt description. How do you jump from that to "vote for Obama because he is black"? It makes him feel better. Like he has a cause or something.
