  1. Sans Quentin we could easily go 10-13
  2. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 5, 2008 -> 11:26 AM) agreed - if the results were negative it seems like they would've said so right away. Just speculating, but they're probably trying to figure out how long it will take to heal so they can make an announcement. again, just mere speculation. If you want a knockout blow for this team, take away it's best hitter.
  3. Word has it through the Score the Sox are more than lightly worried about this forearm injury. Anyone have any news? Last I heard he was playing tonight.
  4. You won't lose that appeal. Don't worry about that.
  5. QUOTE (Soxy @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 10:43 AM) 30 Rock. That, and of course The Office. I told myself I wouldn't give Kath & Kim a shot, then I saw an extended scene where Selma Blaire and her boyfriend on the show are absolutely hilarious... so it MIGHT be another in the long line of entertaining Thursday night comedies for NBC.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 1, 2008 -> 09:22 PM) The new season of Prison Break is off to a great start. I stayed with that show for 3 seasons, but I'm done with the bulls*** and the constant feeling of being unfullfilled with that show. I'm done with it.
  7. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Sep 4, 2008 -> 05:58 AM) When is the Boris Mirnov or Igor Korolev night?? I'd happily attend Sergei Krivokrasov night. How about ex-good Maple Leafs Night starring Doug Gilmour and Wendell Clark? Or even better... I Should Have Retired Before I Got Here Night starring the above two along with Paul Coffey? (but Lord, Coffey was a God in like NHL 99)
  8. The sad thing is, people get paid to come up with these team names.
  9. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 10:58 PM) Sign Joe Crede during the off season. He will be back in 2009 with a vengance is my prediction Yup, just like this year.
  10. This team was rolling before Crede came back, and then slowed as he adjusted, and now he's out. Him coming back and being thrown right into the lineup, which I complained about at the time, probably cost this team 3 games considering how it messed up the good vibes.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 03:33 PM) ozzie said that if you take yourself out of a lineup (which Q did) then you always sit the one after it. ^^ winner. He'll play Friday.

QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 07:59 AM) Its false when you actually consider Tropic Thunder a good movie. God, Tropic Thunder was such complete, terrible, f***ing crap.
  13. I think they should just declare it Tony Amonte season, that's how much I adored the man. Him getting a night, there's nothing wrong with that. He was our best player in the dark ages and the only reason to watch the team for quite some time. Captain Hairdoo, I love thee.
  14. AND you honored those with 1600x1200 resolution! NICE! Good job, Sir Knight.
  15. Hahaha, the guy's name is CQMVP and he hates our offseason moves. BRILLIANT.
  16. let's throw Jerry Owens into the lineup... oh and MacDougal last night, that's cute too. WTF! Seriously, why, when we're tied for first, is JERRY F****** OWENS playing??
  17. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 2, 2008 -> 12:06 PM) No joke, the Hawks are having a "Tony Amonte Heritage Night" in January. I love it... are you sure it's not "Hair-itage" Night? I think that'd fit as well. I adore Tony Amonte... he was the s***.
  18. I think changing this from an error would be ridiculous. You can't retroactively go back and change a ruling just to make no-hitters happen. The call was made on the play at the time it happened, and it was a 50/50 call. Dozens of plays are ruled errors and or hits every day, and if we start changing them just to get no-hitters, well, that'll really mess the the rule books. Yost is so f***ing annoying it's ridiculous.
