QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 19, 2015 -> 02:58 PM) OKC got rid of Perkins, so they win. OKC traded James Harden. They don't ever win.

So every point guard in the league got traded today. got it.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Feb 19, 2015 -> 01:05 PM) Wow, Zach Lowe and Simmons were recently talking about how Andre Miller looked done, but Lowe said the Karl loved Miller and wouldn't be surprised if he told Kings management to get him. Pretty cool that it ended up happening Ha, yes, that's hilarious.

I have finally made the switch back to FireFox from Chrome. Chrome just consistently seems to be a hog and run slowly no matter what PC I'm on - so I had to go back with my tail between my legs.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 15, 2015 -> 08:15 PM) I LOVE the nba we have today. But I can't wait for the day the conferences are more balanced. When the west can come with Durant, Westbrook, Paul, Dirk, Lillard off the bench? My goodness. That's just not fair. Dude, that's coming very soon. Silver is evaluating conferences and whether we should even bother with location-based divisions. We'll be seeing the best 16 teams in the playoffs within the next 3 seasons. As for the ASG, at that point my guess is they'd be smart and just have it turn to a fantasy draft the roster thing like the NHL and NFL have done.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 16, 2015 -> 10:01 AM) It was kind of funny to see Jim Carrey on the stage at the end of SNL 40, considering he never made it to a castmember, and was actually an In Living Color cast member He's clearly an honorary castmember at this point. That show was great last night - as someone who's been with SNL since he was 12 (so almost 20 years?) there was a lot of memory lane love there. Good to see how naturally some of these folks can jump back into it. F*cking the return of Turd Ferguson was epic.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Feb 15, 2015 -> 08:04 PM) I hope you are all watching the SNL special right now. It's fantastic. That Celebrity Jeopardy is an instant classic. I love it.

QUOTE (knightni @ Feb 10, 2015 -> 08:00 AM) Marvel Civil War is after his marriage to Mary Jane, so I believe that he's in his mid to late 20s. Ah beat me to it.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 10, 2015 -> 08:29 AM) Dylan O'Brien and Ansel Elgort would be good picks. Drake Bell actually wouldn't be a bad pick, but I'd avoid it. Zac Efron has been cited. Also: Stay away from Donald Glover / Maguire / Gyllenhall. They're all too old for a character that will likely be in his late teens / early 20s. Also, they aren't going to make Peter African-American because they have Miles Morales and they explicitly stated that they aren't doing Miles Morales. Peter Parker is way older in the Civil War. I'd guess almost 30.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 10, 2015 -> 07:35 AM) McGuire would be the most uninteresting and terrible move ever. Dude is almost 40 years old. im not even gonna comment on the rest of your choices, it looks like you just searched Nickelodeon and CW If Dave Franco were a foot taller, he'd be perfect with his ability to be hilarious while also looking like Peter Parker. But dude is way too short.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 9, 2015 -> 11:11 PM) Sony and Marvel reached an agreement to include Spidey in MCU films. I was in Atlanta all week for work so I totally missed this. Holy s*** holy s*** holy s*** holy s*** Civil War Civil War Civil War Civil War. Marvel is smart, I guarantee the insane amount they paid will seem like pennies compared to the return.

Hawk on the Score with Mully & Hanley this morning

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 13, 2015 -> 07:44 AM) Hawk came on the score this morning at 7:35, im sure the podcast will be up later. He had a lot of his normal platitudes(best offseason by a GM i have ever seen, etc.), but one thing stood out to me, he said that he does not think Hahn is done. You can say a lot of things about hawk(many of them true), but he DID call this offseason last year. Here is to hoping he continues to be right What the hell is their left to do? Sign A-Rod after he's DFA'd? -
This is easily the best season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia since season 4. What a treat so far! The continues shot of Charlie trying to pass the bar inspection was top notch and well-orchestrated. It's nice to see the show firing on all cylinders again - it'd been too long.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Feb 6, 2015 -> 12:33 PM) Rough day, Steve? No, it's a fine day. I simply cannot believe The Score would call that clown. There's plenty of young, fresh blood out there more than eager to take a timeslot and not skip months at a time during each year of his contract.

A few things from the NBA I'll throw out there. 1. The Bulls traded two solid 1st round draft slots for Doug McD, and they are considering sending him to the D-League. No words. 2. Doc Rivers has finally lost it. First, he traded way too much to get his kid off the end of the Celtics' bench, and now he's STARTING his son tonight. 3. Taj can go, but he's hardly the issue. Derrick Rose is probably the Bulls' biggest problem right now, and unless he stops shooting 3s they're toast 4. Kevin Martin is back, healthy, and kicking ass. He's also readily available for trade and an expiring contract. He also gets to the line a ton, has great size, and would be a great second scorer for the Bulls (and allow them to move Jimmy to SF). 5. Nikola Vucevic is better than Dwight Howard, and it isn't even close. Great piece of Orlando's Dwight trade - what a monster.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 6, 2015 -> 01:07 PM) Anything fewer than 73 74 homers is a massive disappointment. Fixed.

This Cuban dynamo was awesome last year - .317, 36, 107, .964. Can he do better? He certainly seemed to learn as the season went on in terms of batting average, while he lost a bit of power down the stretch. So... what's he going to do this year? My guess is .305/42/118/1.002

QUOTE (shipps @ Feb 4, 2015 -> 05:30 PM) So Danny Mac turned down the multi year offer from the Score to come back. Kinda glad he isnt coming back but I will just hate it if Kap and Haugh are the second option then I would have rather had Mac. I'm surprised that clown hasn't killed himself yet.

QUOTE (LDF @ Feb 6, 2015 -> 12:13 PM) with Thibs, and if he is a strict coach, i will give example of another situation. now i am saying this, and i am a huge Thibs' backer. Mike Keenan of the old blackhawks team, he was a very strict coach who also relied on his vets, but if the young players can play a consistent game, he will play them. he rode his players hard, almost to a mutiny. now, he got results, his team played a very discipline kind of game and were least penalized. but his act worn out and that is why he was always getting fired. his act wears out. he was the only coach to insist that the all stars played a hard hitting checking game, this i mention last week. while Thibs's is a great coach, i wonder if he experiencing the same problem as Keenan. Extremely interesting parallel.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Feb 6, 2015 -> 12:01 PM) This. I feel like this has been a huge problem that not many people have been realizing/discussing. Sometimes players can't do something.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 5, 2015 -> 08:16 PM) What an amazing job by their front office. They've certainly learned from past mistakes. This is the most stacked team LeBron has ever played on. I love that people in this thread fell for the same trap they did LeBron's first Miami year. The Cavs are good. The trades they made? SHEEEIIIT.
