  1. Hey I remember him. I think we played some Halo 2 online togethe a couple times. Welcome back, and save the chickens.
  2. QUOTE (knightni @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 12:15 AM) 1 AB, 1 K. Same old Pablo. Still the f***ing man!
  3. I loved it when we got Pods. All I could think was "70 stolen bases... 70 stolen bases..."
  4. Some idiots in my league just vetoed this trade in a 14 team league. Selvin Young Santana Moss for Reggie Wayne Am I missing something this year? Young and Moss both have quite the upside, and with Gonzalez improving and Harrison back, can't we expect a decline in Wayne's numbers?
  5. The reaction in this thread means Jay Mariotti made the Sun-Times more money than they paid him for the last 16.5 years.
  6. If we wanted Tavares we could just promote Owens. Fuentes would be nice, but not at the price of Poreda, which is what they want.
  7. QUOTE (Cubano @ Aug 26, 2008 -> 02:14 PM) http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/league_leaders.js...meSubFrame=2008 because you touch yourself at night.
  8. The White Sox need to be smart and lock up CQ like the Brewers did with Ryan Braun. Buy up those arb years and make sure he's in a Sox jersey for a very long time.
  9. The Hawks won't have him on the roster unless he can play, they have their eyes on the playoffs and more this year... I presume we'll see him in Rockford unless he really impresses in the preseason.
  10. QUOTE (letsgoarow @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 03:14 PM) Im not so sure about that. I don't think anyone would argue they want a healthy Crede over a healthy Juan. I see us working Joe into the lineup, he'll struggle, for a few weeks at least, and then go back on the DL. This is where the concern lies.
  11. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 02:26 PM) Yes he is. His glove has been good, even though he was errant with some throws. If he is healthy, Crede is much better at 3B than Juan. That may be, but I don't want the team to have to deal with a grace period as Joe gets his ass in gear.
  12. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 02:25 PM) There really should be no adjustment period for Joe, no 0-4 games with an error and 4 awful ABs, either he's ready to play everyday or he's not. This team is a half game up in a tough divisional race and already have a capable 3B on the roster. This is a bad time to be breaking in an injured player, they can't afford a to have a grace period. Exaaaactly.
  13. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 02:18 PM) It's a shame really that Juan needs to lose his job, he's been a stud at 3B for the better part of 5 weeks. Exactly, there's no reason to stick Crede in and basically put a wrench in the good things uribe's been doing. Wow, I really never, EVER, thought I'd be wanting more Juan Uribe PT.
  14. This is bad for the White Sox believe it or not. Uribe has shown that with consistent playing time he can be more than adequate at 3B. I don't want to mess up the good thing we having going...

    QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 24, 2008 -> 03:29 PM) "I'm having lunch with Cliff Huxtable at the Four Seasons." "What do you do?" "I'm into murders and executions." "Mergers and acquisitions?" "You're a f***ing ugly b****. I want to stab you to death... and play around with your blood." ^^at least that's how I remember it, the quote might be off.

    QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Aug 22, 2008 -> 09:55 PM) i watched Outside Providence last night before bed. That movie is so f***ing hilarious There are so many great quotes from that movie. The camera cuts to Drugs writing the letter - Today you should've seen me and Mousy today at school today. I got cocked on a pint of Blackberry brandy, ate some THC on the bus. We were f***ed. This teacher Mr. Rivera goes, "What's wrong with you Delaney?" I go, "I'm totally f***ed, maaaaan!" Everybody laughed like a bastard. Oh man, you should see this song I'm listenin' to. It's called "Don't Bogart That Joint, My Friend." I think it's by a group called... and Yesterday we received a letter addressed simply to Cornwall Academy, Cornwall, Connecticut. So naturally we, we opened it and read it. You might want to sit down. It begins, "Greetings Dunph. What's happening? I got your letter today. Cornhole Academy sounds like it really sucks the big one. I can't believe they make everyone work a lot and not smoke. You should tell that piece of s*** Thunderturd to shove it. You didn't want to go there in the first place. Eat s***, man.
