QUOTE (HeGone33 @ May 13, 2008 -> 09:49 AM) Does anyone know if it is worth it to buy the HDMI cable for the 360? I have a Samusung 40" LCD, and the graphics are great. My buddy told me that while playing GTA 4, having the HDMI cable will make it easier to see on the game. Sometimes it gets pretty hard at night. Any thoughts? Thanks for the help My friend and I both have the same, 40" LCD Samsung television. I have my 360 hooked up with HDMI, while he has his with the cords that came with the system. The difference is striking. The games look so much better on my television. I highly recommend it for you.

Know anyone who wants a 360 or want one yourself? I'll trade my extremely lightly used XBOX 360 (with a three year warranty from Best Buy purchased in December, which means if you ever get the red lights of death you just take it to BB and they hand you a new one, just keep the harddrive) along with two controllers (one wireless), an HDMI cable, Live headset, and two games (Tiger Woods 07 and NBA 2k8) for a decent treadmill in excellent shape that has a digital display. The 360 is in mint condition and is the Premium version, so I'd expect the treadmill to be in mint condition. PM or email me at [email protected] if you are interested. We can exchange pictures OF THE PRODUCTS lolhitting.gif to see what's up.

I can't argue with this one. I don't see anyone ever approaching that record.

5/12 White Sox (18-18) vs LA Angels (22-17)
Steve9347 replied to Kyyle23's topic in 2008 Season in Review
Adenhart is the Angels top pitching prospect, but has been nothing special thus far. Look for him to have his breakout performance tonight, because the White Sox have not yet seen him. -
Sorry palehose23, you have fallen victim to something known as RSB (Random Soxtalk b****ing). Sometimes, when you post useful information, someone will have their panties in a bunch and ask you why you posted something so stupid. When that person does this, it's best to ignore them and wait for those who find the information useful to log on. Thanks for reminding me that we'll be stuck with Thome for another year after this one.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 12, 2008 -> 07:34 AM) Great start to the road trip. 2/3 in Seattle, and even the game we lost the pen pitched really well, and the offense showed signs of life by getting tons of baserunners. Keep it going boys! Agreed, at least we won 2/3.

QUOTE (ballyb11 @ May 11, 2008 -> 09:17 AM) Great stat. After today's game they are now 0-8 in games in which they do not hit a homerun. -

QUOTE (lostfan @ May 11, 2008 -> 01:51 AM) "Feast or a famine." They are feasting after the famine last week. Some consistency would be nice. It feels inevitable it's going to happen again, although I still have confidence in Swisher and Cabrera to pick it up. Not so sure about Konerko and Thome, although Konerko's been doing better. Exactly. The Sox are feasting right now, like the Snickers commercial. Surely they will famine yet again. It's nice to see runs scored, but you'll notice most of yesterday's runs were via the homer. The White Sox are 0-7 this season when they don't hit a homerun. -

Per Rotoworld He's been horrendous. It's funny how the entire baseball universe could tell Edmonds was done, yet someone who makes a decent salary decided to trade for him and take on over $6 million. Edmonds had a decent career, I'd think he might be done. Decent career though, won a World Series, and at one point was regarded as one of the better homerun hitters and fielders in baseball.

Michigan Democratic Delegate Deal - unconfirmed

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 9, 2008 -> 01:31 PM) Do you want the chance of FL and MI going to Obama in November? Yes. They knew the rules beforehand though, and now Hillary's going to string this till the end. -
QUOTE (heirdog @ May 9, 2008 -> 01:09 PM) Swishin' ain't easy. He needs to get back up to the top spot in the line-up and just try to get on base. The walk is a great prescription for a player in a slump. If he batted first, he could think, all I need to do is get on base with a walk ahead of these other .210 hitters. Batting him 7th, he feels like he needs to get at least a double for the .230, .190 and then the .210 hitters to drive him in. He lead off the first month of the season and was hitting like .215. He's just slumping.

Michigan Democratic Delegate Deal - unconfirmed
Steve9347 replied to HuskyCaucasian's topic in The Filibuster
It's a joke that she would think she is deserving of the 100% vote. The fact that she could only get 55% when all the candidates with a true chance took their names off the ballot says a lot. WHY ARE WE CONSIDERING ALLOWING THESE VOTES WHEN MICHIGAN VIOLATED THE NATIONAL PARTY RULES AND KNEW THEIR VOTES WOULDN'T COUNT!?!?!?!? WTF WTF WTF I hate Hillary! -
QUOTE (knightni @ May 9, 2008 -> 12:44 PM) Well, he and Randy Johnson did room together in college. Well played, sir.

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 8, 2008 -> 06:56 PM) I'm not happy about the slumping offense either, but blaming it on Moneyball and an emphasis this offseason on OBP is just dumb. I guarantee that if the Sox OBP was .369 like Boston's we'd be leading the league in RS like Boston. Nothing (of the simple rate stats) correlates better to RS than OBP, not average, that's for f***ing sure. I think you mis interpreted the article. I was pointing out that the organization's sudden emphasis on OBP had them neglecting players who hit for high average. It was all about walks, and they brought in three guys who likely won't be .300 hitters. -
Delmon Young seems to have lost some bat speed, resulting in less contact... Delmon Young has lost some power...
