I brought this up in the NHL thread, but what happens if the Cubs/Hawks seasons overlap (playoffs for the Hawks)?

If he can get his OBP up to .340 or so (a modest 0.016 increase over last year), he's a legitimate leadoff hitter. And the Sox could really use a proficient base-stealer. Anderson had better start hitting soon, because Owens can bring a heck of a lot more to the table than him at this point. I think the big difference is Anderson is a backup and we don't have to suffer through it for as many at bats.
