God how can anyone compare Glasnow and Meadows to Cease and Jimenez. Jimenez is worth 3x that alone and Cease may actually wind up a starter - days that have come and gone for Glasnow*. *the Rays will assuredly stretch him out and start him and then realize how bad that is the first time he walks 10 guys in a game.

I also honestly believe that the Bulls won't be in NBA hell making the playoffs. Outside of Golden State, Boston, and Houston, it's hard to find a more exciting starting 5 in the NBA in terms of upside. This year is an audition. We have room for a max contract next year and we have tradeable assets for players under contract. The Bulls are suddenly very quickly in a good position to make some noise with player development and key strategic additions. It also seems to me like Paxson is taking more of the reins from Forman which is a good thing in terms of league perception. The arrow is pointing up and I'm all in on this Bulls squad. I can't wait to watch these guys develop together.

Markkanen has the highest upside of all of our players. They'd better get him minutes. Very Dirk-ish in those highlights above with regards to his quick pull-up jumper and foot work. Then of course he has twice the athleticism already. Slurp.

I'm going to call it right now. The Chicago Bulls will make the playoffs this year and might be as high as a 4 seed. Some Evidence:

You guys are so petty. If they wanted Chelios to participate they shouldn't have traded him a year earlier. I'm forever saddened that the Hawks cast Chelios off at the end of his career - or so Wirtz & Co. thought when they didn't want to pay the Norris winner in 99 or so and gave the fucking guy away TO THE FUCKING RED WINGS for Anders Ericson and a bag of pucks (I didn't have to Google this). Chelly only went on to play like another 30 years and lead the league in +/- a few times. Guy was a beast. Chelios was a Chicago guy. Born and raised. I caught the news he had to leave the Wings to be closer to his Mom whom I'd have to assume is old as fuck a few days ago, and I'm glad he can get a check with and represent the Hawks.
