Sig Thread

here's a few early s***ty ones i did lol. they suck ass! They do truly suck, but there's some comedic value.
2. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) Personally, I think its wonderful that campaign staff who work incredibly hard and long hours are actually going to be able to get paid. I don't think anyone said it wasn't. However, lying and saying they won't when they will is the issue at hand.
3. Hmmm, not surprisingly some more lies are told about Obama in this mailer.
4. thank god someone with a larger forum to make fun ripped hillary for the endless clap clap point point crap. should have gone with: smile smile clap clap nod nod point point. i cant stand that woman and the idea of the clintons beating out obama.
5. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 01:32 PM) Jesus. That's what Fields said.

Who is dieting?

Just a hint to some of you folks whom I can see are updating your #s daily... you'll go nuts doing that. Trust me, you'll want to commit to a once-a-week weigh in (or at most twice). I'm doing mine on Friday mornings. It's just better for your sanity to weigh in once a week.

Tax Prep

I think I'll just pick up Turbo Tax Deluxe for Fed/State this weekend (i presume if its ordered online they just let you download it) and then I'll take care of it Saturday night. As a new homeowner, is there anything I should know about re: deductions? Will TTd take care of those for me?

Who is dieting?

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 11:33 AM) Not that it much matters, but if you start everybody on Feb 5 that is going to make all of us folks who started their diets at New Years look like underperformers compared to those just starting. The first month is easy and weight just pretty much falls off of you. No that I'm a month in I'm lucky to lose 2-3 lbs/week as opposed to the 5-7 pounds I could loose the first couplel weeks of the diet. Again, I'm not going to stress about it, but wanted to point out that inequality. Yeah, I started really going at it a week before this and those 5 lbs were hard earned and should count! Where's Jillian when you need someone to beat some ass!?
9. hahaha, look at this. www.phoenixsuns.com
10. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 10:48 AM) Besides like that link said he already turned down a few of the best teams, why would he agree to come to the Hawks? Because he cares about a multi-year deal... I'm sure the "best" teams only offered him a contract for this season.
11. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 08:46 AM) On the Main Hawks board someone is claiming DT offered Forsberg a multi year deal...I love Forsberg but think he is way beyond his great playing days. He spends more time on the IR than Havlat. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=229000&hubname=nhl I think this is a move that's worth the risk. Forsberg said himself he wouldn't come back unless he thought he could play at his top level without the injury bug. I think it's just a crazy chance to land one of the most talented players in the league and if we get lucky we get lucky... the guy makes us an instant contender for top 4 next season (of course, thats IF healthy).
12. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 10:42 PM) /calls on his inner steve0978345798345 Hawks lost 4-1, Lalime sucks. Can't believe he couldn't keep them in the game. Those 3 goals in the 2nd took all the life out of them, especially those 2 within 40 seconds to make it 3-1! Totally different game if he tosses up a shutout, or just one goal. We might be in OT right now! Goaltending let us down yet again tonight, it's as simple as that. /no other comments about the rest of the team's play or coaching /end post I think you have a KRUSH on me, every one of your posts seems to include my name.

QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 09:15 AM) I used to do it myself but now with a mortgage and other things I let the box guide me Which is better with the added mortgage, box or using an H&R Block type of place?

Who is dieting?

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 7, 2008 -> 09:16 AM) ok, I was just suggesting a saturday night cap to the list of people I'll be tracking...but I suppose people can join as they want. They'll need to PM so I can put them on my spreadsheet. I thought about it this morning, and I think if everyone can take a picture of their scale to start us off and then weekly pictures to keep everyone honest. Is that too hard for folks? if so, maybe we can just do a honesty policy on a weekly basis, but do pics at one month, 3 months and/or 6 months. thoughts? I've got no problem with that, but I don't see any reason to cheat unless I missed the fact that the winner gets $100k!

Who is dieting?

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 06:40 PM) hey sorry I'm stupid when it comes to computers, but how do I get that sig to be my sig? here, copy this code into your signature. Soxtalk's Biggest Loser Club Start Weight (2/06): ### Current Weight (2/06): ### Goal Weight: ### lbs lost: ## lbs to go: ## Then just insert the numbers that matchup with you where it says ###. Should be easy as pie now.
16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 11:25 AM) It's 2010? Hmmm, that's certainly interesting. That's the opt-out year for Wade, Lebron and Melo. When does Nash's contract end? That was my thinking. They've set themselves up to pickup anyone of those stars.
17. QUOTE(sircaffey @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 12:35 PM) Basically, we'll have roughly 15 starts (DL time included) come from someone outside of the rotation, and I would feel much better if that was coming from an experienced SP rather than one of our fringy prospects. If we want to make a run at the playoffs, I think that's a necessity. Agreed 100%. Lowry makes our team deeper and better.
18. QUOTE(TLAK @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 07:25 AM) That will take him to age 69. You can put it on the board ... wheeze! I would have guessed he was already older than that.
19. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 01:08 PM) Has anyone seen absentee vs "day-of" voting in California? I'd be VERY interested to see what those numbers are. Hadn't even thought of that...
20. Thats weird, this morning they had it Clinton 901 to Obama 824, but now they have it at Obama 847, Clinton 834. Someone please explain this to me. That would be huge if true. Why do miscalculations come out? If someone could send me to a reliable source to read about this whole process I'd feel much better about myself.

Who is dieting?

Just noticed this. I started last week, but I'm in.
22. I understand wanting to get rid of Shawn Marion... but that Shaq contract ($20 mill per for two seasons after this one) is killer... they could have done better I would think. That is unless they think Shaq can magically be 5 years younger.
