Russell looked good in Spring Training, that nice-hard fastball might be better suited for the bullpen in short spurts... I really like the kid and hope he succeeds.

Well, I hope he continues hitting the ball out of the park the next few days and some team decides they have to have him. If he can possibly get back a little of that 06 swagger, he could find himself in quite the payday and also return a nice batch of players. The best thing for Jermaine Dye and the White Sox is if he picks up his game in the next week+ just in time for us to deal him. Re-signing him would be a huge mistake for this club.

The Angels have many options... one of which is Brandon Wood who could be called up to play short and shift whoever's there to 2nd.

I believe that statement was said as a joke. He said he wished he would have stayed here longer, and then said he's been "trying to get jerry to sell him the white sox." I don't really think it was true. However, all Albert did for the Sox was produce, can't say I didn't like him! 30/116 49/152 f***ing monster... too bad we had zero pitching for that club. He had a 9-year tear in there that was as good as anyone... damn knees. I'll never forget the ad campaign the White Sox ran with him breaknig a bat and it said something like 100% amber or whatever type of wood they stated. They have stupendous marketing.
