  1. If we deal with them... we demand Lastings Milledge. I don't care what he's done, he's a top talent and he's ready to play in the majors right now. We need something like that, and Kenny should be making this deal yesterday.
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 11:33 PM) The Cards would definitely make that deal, but I don't think the Sox would. Here is a question, would the Cards do Rasmus for Contreras (they are in a winnable division and Contreras still has the stuff to be pretty damn solid in the NL). I HIGHLY doubt that the cards would accept that deal... I don't see what makes you think they would? I'd do it in a heartbeat from the Sox's angle.
  3. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 09:19 PM) Well, shoot. You must have an advanced version of google. the double-secret version.
  4. first hit on google... "wireless headphones 200 feet" headphones
  5. If they were smart and dealt Dye or Buehrle, then I would pay for seats to another game... It'd give me hope for the future.
  6. "Come for the hotdogs, stay for the... um. Nevermind, just come for the hotdogs."
  7. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 09:36 AM) Buster Onley says if KW puts Mark and Dye out on the market now he will get a great return, if he waits when the market gets more saturated he will get a lot less. Just f***ing sell them off now. no s***... its a joke if they dont start selling now... i want billingsly badly.
  8. I was skeptical heading into this show, but really enjoyed it last night. In fact, it was right up my ally and I think has a lot of promise to be one of the more entertaining programs of the summer running back to back with Entourage... My Sunday nights are set!
  9. I guarantee he gets booed... though i will be cheering.
  10. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 04:08 PM) Explain that to the other 10 teams that wanted nothing to do with him. Don't you think they know that? They obviously value the negoiation process a LOT more than our Mel Kipers here. The upside isn't the point. What good is selecting a guy if he's not a lock to sign or you know it will be difficult? Of course if the Sox are/were willing to give a prospect that kind of money ($3-5 million,) it's only natural that the b****ing about not spending that money on the major league team will start to arise. your point?
  11. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 03:51 PM) So I guess the Sox aren't the only MLB team with their heads up their asses, or the experts here ASSume way too much. I wonder which one it is. hmmmm... one plus pitch four plus pitches??? gee, which one has more upside?
  12. this hard-assed Scott Boras client thing... I'm done with it... its basically our organization saying we're going to ignore top talent on princicple, and then watching our #1 competition laugh while they jack off to Porcello's stat lines
  13. this franchise is run by f***ing pussies.
  14. QUOTE(danman31 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 03:25 PM) Hope you got your killing shoes on. lacing them up...

  16. I'd rather shoot myself in the crotch than watch Abreu for the next year and a half.
  17. That's pretty awesome, looks it was a great experience, and it also looks like Craig Wilson can f*** off...
  18. I'm going to DVR it to see what they have to say about a few guys... the best part of this will be just the general however many hours its televised baseball discussion... and highlights of these kids.
