  1. Regardless... how much worse than Crede can Fields be??? Please trade JOE CREDE!
  2. Bukvich has always had a solid arm. As for Fuentes... havne't we (and many other GMs) learned that dealing for relief pitching is the dumbest thing in the history of the world?
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 10:06 AM) me too. Deal Crede please. I said it then, and I'll say it again... we would never have gotten more for Joe Crede than we could have in this offseason. I mean, come on, aside from getting hot at the end of 2005 and having a decent 2006, he's been a huge disappointment. I'll never forget the contributions to 2005, but Crede classically overachieved last year, elected not to have surgery to repair his back, and now we're seeing a Crede that we'd be lucky to get a garbage can for... Oh, and all the b****ing about Joe not getting a Gold Glove? End it... Chavez is the better fielder! /story.
  4. I want to see Josh Fields up, though I know it won't happen.

    QUOTE(Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 4, 2007 -> 09:27 AM) Thought it was on Ok episode. Still think this last half season has been more miss than hit. Since we'll have at least a few episodes on set of the new movie, I wonder how they'll keep Ari in the show. Well, at this point, Ari is just as much a part of this project as Vince, and I'm sure he's going to get a cut of what the film makes. Also, regardless of what he's doing with Vince, his character will be followed doing whatever the hell he does... he's more a part of this show than Vince himself, lol!
  6. I think its time this film gets its own thread. I am so excited to see a darker story of the Joker, even though he is being played by Heath Ledger. First shots of "The Joker" prove that the ship has permanently been righted... looking forward to countless Batman sequels from here on out. Ledger as the Joker. Freaking awesome!
  7. One portion of an Arrested Development episode that always gets me going... GOB is trying to swallow a key, using a ton of alcohol to get it down, choking, spitting up, having a hell of a time... then the words "Professional Magician: Do Not Attempt" flash across the screen. Another moment from season 1... Michael and GOB are trying to trick george michael into not buying pot in the future, so they set up a sting with some "hot cops" friends of GOBs (strippers dressed as cops)... then George, Sr, their father, decides to teach them not to "teach lessons" (I know)... So fake drug dealers come in, and as they get pissed bc the "cops" showed up, GOB yells... "they aren't real cops! look at how hot they are!" i love that show.

    Excellent way to end the season, though Billy's insistance that Medellin be in Spanish might be an alarming prelude to his continued gayness through season 4. i hate that f***!
  9. I think Ozzie's quick trigger to go to a struggling bullpen has been warrant enough for him to be gonzo.
  10. Please don't add Abreu. We get rid of Dye after this season and get 2 draft picks because of it... there is no reason to add the 33-34 year old Abreu when he's obviously completely lost it. This team needs an overhaul.
  11. Did someone just compare Marcus Fizer to Carlos Boozer? It never takes long for the no-merit stuff to come out. IF we sign Fizer, everyone prepare to be disappointed... again.
  12. OMFG. The Devil Rays have zero need for Jermaine Dye! Don't make retarded trade proposals people!
  13. well, s***. why dont we just trade him for grady sizemore since its so easy...
  14. I think its obvious that we're going to end up with either Tim Lincicum or Matt Cain...
  15. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 02:38 PM) And knowing is half the battle.
  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 1, 2007 -> 02:17 PM) Just hit freaking .300 please. prepare to be disappointed.
  17. I agree... I'd love players who do what A-Rod did...
  18. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 30, 2007 -> 11:51 AM) I'm pretty sure ARod is the only NY athlete and certainly the only Yankee who has ever stepped out on his wife. If that even is what he's doing. of course.
  19. id put my dick on the line that 30 out of 30 educated baseball general managers would take jose reyes over hanley ramirez 7 times a week and twice on sunday.
  20. QUOTE(Felix @ May 30, 2007 -> 09:54 AM) Hanley Ramirez > Jose Reyes no. I'm sorry, Hanley is good, I'd kill to have him, but Reyes is on another planet, and stating otherwise is plain foolish.
  21. 1. Jose Reyes 2. Albert Pujols 3. Johan Santana 4. Grady Sizemore 5. Tim Lincicum ^^ winnar anyone who doesnt have Jose Reyes on their list does not watch enough baseball.
  22. I was in the same quandry not too long ago. The game is ridiculously overpriced bc for PC people have gone mod-crazy on it. Just go here to s*** yourself. www.mvpmods.com I ended up downloading the game through questionable sources for free online (though purchasing is recommended)... and now have a game (upgraded to MVP06, which some crazy modders made) and it has everyone's face, updateed stadiums throughout (and the cell is identical to the real life cell (all of the stadiums are gorgeous.) ^^ look at how it actually has the retired persons on the outfield wall, and the colors are accurate (blue be gone!) also, fundamentals is included in left field. It really adds a level of realism to the game to go "MVP mod" crazy, downloading all updated rosters, all the minor leagues (incredibly accurate btw), as well as updating all the stadiums to have real advertising (like ComEd, Budweiser, etc). I highly recommend this all.
