  1. Joe Crede could learn something from Sammy Sosa there. OPPOSITE f***ING FIELD.
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 08:15 PM) Some more nice execution on double plays by this team...not! Let's see if Wilkerson makes us pay. At least Gooch got the lucky call that could have gone either way...
  3. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 07:56 PM) Tejada is actually a good pitcher, may have best stuff on that staff. What about B-Mac?
  4. Wait. I thought that once it warmed up the White Sox would start hitting.
  5. hmmm.... wow, a homerun cut. who woulda thunk it.
  6. Seriously... why Tad is ever moved from #2 I don't understand.
  7. Heh... didn't take long for WCIU to have it's first f***up of the evening, eh?
  8. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 04:18 PM) Im eating 5 of them tonight for sure. rockfarts
  9. QUOTE(kane0730 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 04:06 PM) Did Perez hook on with anybody? I'd rather have his bat on the bench then Logan. Actually I'd rather have him on the team then Erstad. Eduardo Perez has not signed with anyone, and I don't know why he's not on this team... maybe he slept with the chick in rock's avatar and pissed some of the Sox' staff off...
  10. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 04:04 PM) Pods Groin I must say, being at work, I was a tad nervous clicking that link.
  11. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 04:01 PM) Jesus, 3 lefties in a row from the bottom to the top. Well, Alex is a switch hitter, but while Tejeda is out there, yes, 3 lefties.
  12. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 03:54 PM) Was Mack starting before the announcement? Because I cant find the starting lineups anywhere. Today's White Sox Lineup CF Erstad 2B Iguchi DH Thome 1B Konerko RF Dye C Pierzynski 3B Crede LF Mackowiak SS Cintron
  13. I can't believe that Pods gets injured and they still refuse to put Anderson in the lineup. Trade him or send him down, you're ruining him!
  14. Oh, I guess Pods is injured... Christ. Leadoff with freaking Mackowiak, not freaking grindErstad.
  15. Why in the f***ing world is Pods sitting against a righty? He's the hottest hitter we have, so we lead off Darin Erstad instead because he's earned it with his .170 something average? We're going to get really sick of grinderstad.
  16. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 03:09 PM) or would I........ she good. she real good.
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) Except we are seeing historic offensive lows to start this season. purely coincidence.
  18. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 01:52 PM) Well the cold is being blamed for offense being down across the league. So if the cold is effecting the offense (especially the Sox) to the point where runs/game are down as much as they are wouldn't that in turn help out pitchers? Contreras is a little different I suppose, he has a pretty big leg kick and needs to be pretty loosened up to in order to have his good control, he did walk what 5 batters on Sunday? I think it's a pretty legitimate argument. I think it's an excuse for the fact that hitters normally start slower than pitchers because of the shorter spring training workload.
  19. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 01:31 PM) Also Danks has yet to start a game in the major leagues with a windchill above 40. His ERA would most likely be a lot higher if he had. This is BS... the cold is used as an excuse for Conteras not being able to get loose, yet its only helping John Danks? Cold effects hitters Cold effects pitchers I never want cold to be used as an argument on this board again. lol
  20. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 01:09 PM) Danks has actually allowed more homeruns this season than BMac, Danks has had a lot of problems with HRs in the past as well. Interesting... I always thought 3 = 3? I must be losing it. Oh, and Danks is younger, a lefty, and has a sexy mound presence.
  21. QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 12:59 PM) ....a whole offseason of people around here bashing this trade and it only takes 3 starts to sway the other way, thinking we got a steal. Hilarious. It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better for BMac. I really wish we got the chance to face him this week, would have been ideal for slump busting. I never bashed the trade, in fact, I liked it. However, my opinion has not been swayed by the first three BMac starts. He gives up homeruns, that's what he does. I never thought he looked like he had #1 or #2 stuff.
  22. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 12:31 PM) Scouting Report: Never before seen by White Sox hitters = Trouble. (Look for a line of 7 2/3IP 1ER) They won't let him go that long... 6 1/3, 2 hits, 3 walks, 1 er, W
  23. QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 10:57 AM) You can tell players are getting weary of taking the cover when they are going with a second year quarterback. It has nothing to do with that...
