  1. ! It's nice to see Ozuna leading off... I wish Toby Hall were around to hit against CC!
  2. QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 31, 2007 -> 11:15 AM) Sowers over Danks might be interesting. Peralta over Uribe as well. UMMMMMMMMM, and Hafner over Thome, perhaps? You know I love Jeremy Sowers though, lol.
  3. QUOTE(BearSox @ Apr 1, 2007 -> 01:48 PM) Stone >>>>> all the White Sox announcers. Wow, I have to listen to the game, unfortunately, but I'm excited now that Stoney is filling in... the guy's brilliant. My best to Farmio's family, hope everything's alright. QUOTE(MSHAWKS @ Apr 1, 2007 -> 03:59 PM) Here's hoping Farmer takes an extended break, like, say, the whole season. I'd enjoy listening to Stone all year. Hell yeah...
  4. Sorry, Joe will be long gone come free agency with Josh Fields in the wings.
  5. last years felt and was much quicker... due to the fact that white sox baseball lasted an extra month or so and the insanity of everything.... last offseason fo sho.
  6. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 30, 2007 -> 03:05 PM) Personally, I'm expecting a good performance. The time for working on mechanical issues and secondary pitches have since passed. Flash, you're the f***ing man.
  7. How does Cleveland consistently get ranked high every year, yet every year they fall flat on their faces? Maybe they should put it together for an entire season before anyone runs for the hills.
  8. Rumor has it he's got a leg up on the Reds' closing duties.
  9. THE WHITE SOX WERE SECOND TO LAST IN THE CACTUS LEAGUE IN 2005! SPRING TRAINING DOESN'T MEAN s***!
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 27, 2007 -> 11:57 PM) ...and Colon being a disgusting glob of crisco and suck... I love it.
  11. Just keep ignoring Corey Hart, OF, Milwaukee Brewers people. He'll make you regret it... I'm so confident in him he's starting in 2 leagues.
  12. Overrated= Miguel Cabrera and Dan Uggla, Uggla is a ground ball hitter, i dont see either of them putting up same #s as yr before but I could be wrong. Uggla, I agree with, but man, Cabrera's been mashing since day 1 and he's only going to get better. I mean, come on, in the last three years his OPS has gone from .879 to .947 to .998. He's one of the best, young hitters in the game my friend.
  13. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 27, 2007 -> 08:43 AM) I'd love him; however, he's going to rake it in. So it won't happen. ^^
  14. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Mar 25, 2007 -> 12:02 PM) your the man steve. No Jimbo, you're the man.
  15. QUOTE(wsgdf2 @ Mar 26, 2007 -> 01:57 PM) Blaming Ozzie for Hall's injury is ludicrous. yeah, we should blame the other guy who filled out the lineup card. oh wait, that's not possible.
  16. this is f***ing huge, regardless. sure, i play toby at first every now and then in my mvp dynasty... but not in the real world.
  17. Just heard this on Murph. 1st opinion says torn labrum. This is why you don't play catchers at first base.
  18. QUOTE(BearSox @ Mar 25, 2007 -> 10:10 PM) oh god I hope not... dumbest... post... ever.
  19. QUOTE(JohnCangelosi @ Mar 25, 2007 -> 03:53 PM) You guys crack me up. I know he has sucked for it seems forever but let's give him a chance this year, he has been one of the more consistent pitchers for the last 5-6 years in MLB. He's been throwing batting practice since May of 06... just watch him pitch and you can tell he's got nothing.
  20. I'm surprised they haven't talked about the Bmac/Danks deal at all?
  21. Mark Buehrle is trying to emulate Zito's release, and I guess his look. The tall socks work on some players Mark... you are NOT one of them.
