  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 04:28 PM) Hmmm, looks familiar. Also, Grinder Ball Rule #25 = A good outfielder doesn't see the wall. He tastes it. um, its supposed to look familiar, because its a f***ing advertising campaign. oh, and #25 was for thome, woman.

  6. QUOTE(SoxFan76 @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 12:59 PM) Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe your John Rooney quote is inaccurate. I've heard the call a million times, I think it's "A White Sox winner...and a World Championship!" you're wrong.
  7. updated AL leads season series 81-51 .614 winning percentage
  8. This is stupid. I could have had a hit against those pitches Mulder was throwing Tuesday... and Marquis just left too many out over the plate. Plus, the Sox NEVER do well against rookies, let alone one of the best prospects in baseball.
  9. Sporting News has these lineups in Cards SS Eckstein CF Luna 1B Pujols 3B Rolen RF Encarnacion LF Taguchi DH Spiezio C Molina 2B Miles Sox LF Podsednik 2B Cintron DH Thome 1B Konerko RF Dye C Pierzynski 3B Crede CF Mackowiak SS Uribe
  10. whether his velocity is back or not (which I doubt) he's still not getting anyone out because he doesnt trust his fastball. I dont think its a steroids/velocity issue, its more of a bad pitching issue.
  11. yup just heard it. this is good, i've been to the game the last 2 nights, and the cards are boring. i'll be there tonight, maybe they can keep it within 10 with him up. plus, this will get him warmed up for detroit over the weekend!
  12. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 04:06 PM) Poor Duncan, his boy got plunked in the tush. Next time tell the fat Arubian to get better control. exactly... does this motherf***er dave duncan understand baseball?? chris duncan is a f***stick and so is his daddy.
  13. Im sick of this Chris Duncan bulls***. Daddy needs to realize that baby is in the big leagues.
  14. gotta love arrested development
  15. QUOTE(hi8is @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 03:33 PM) stupid stupid stupid if he calls him any other name in the book everyone just laughs... too bad marioti and selige are both homosexual and took personal offense to ozzies comment. maybe if he called him a "b****, slut, ass whore"....sensitivity training might be in order =P yeah, but he did say other similar remarks about a year ago. ozzie just needs to calm down.
  16. Wow, through those stats, the AL is beating the NL thus far this season... 71-47 for a .602 winning percent. These leagues aren't even close!
  17. ozzie plus sensitivity training. he's not going to be happy.
  18. that's rude... its funny, you can say anything on this board but f.a.g.
  19. JUST reported on the Score. Bernstein as Ozzie, "What you mean? I can't call him a f*****?" classic
  20. PM sent... close topic or merge with mariotti thread
  21. I know the AL must have a significant advantage in wins interleague this year. Does anyone know a website that is tracking this?
  22. QUOTE(Jim Spencer @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 02:50 PM) Would it be Ok if I said it one more time Actually Ozzie said it best " He's s***, He's Garbage no no, it's better OZZIEFIED he a piece of chit. he a garbage.
  23. I thought he wrote an exceptionally good article. Ozzie really needs to take a few weeks off of the inflamatory remarks... the country is starting to take a bit too much notice.
