  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 09:15 AM) rumors coming out that Marvel is making a push to Sony to get Spiderman in the shared Universe, for Avengers 3 That would be incredible.
  2. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 7, 2014 -> 03:33 AM) 3 moves I just made to shake my awful 1-4 team up..... Drop Adrian Peterson Pick up Mark Ingram (returns week 7, AP may never return) Drop Torrey Smith Add Justin Forsett (My RBs are horrible, and it was between dropping Smith or Zac Stacy. Went with Smith since he's done jack s*** so far) Drop Andy Dalton Add Tom Brady (Romo is my starter, but I can't imagine Brady being this bad, all year long. He *should* rebound, then maybe I trade him after the Cowboys bye week) Thoughts? I wonder where these leagues are that have guys like that available this late in the season. Anyway, I'd have stuck with Smith, but you can't argue with any of those moves.
  3. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 06:58 PM) If anyone lives outside Chicago wanting to watch the Bulls this year I highly recommend Ballstreams NBA package. F*ck, I'm in Chicago and I pay for it every year. #omgnba
  4. QUOTE (farmteam @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 09:48 AM) I passed the bar! Needs its own thread. Congrats!
  5. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 04:08 PM) Preseason or not, being able to watch it or not, I'm just glad the Bulls are back. I can't wait for Rose to get injured!!!!!!
  6. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 6, 2014 -> 03:11 PM) I think these iphones are the least comfortable in the hand. I don't know if it is the aluminum backing or what, but they don't feel right. It just doesn't feel like an iPhone. It feels cheap.
  7. I held the new iPhones today (getting serious about making the dive). I'm unimpressed. They're basically Androids now in look and feel. The only thing holding them back is a circle button.

I am so f***ing sick of Sons of Anarchy. I've been with it since episode one when a young Jax walked into a convenience store. I stuck with it through some terrible seasons (Gemma's dad, anyone?). This is pissing me off. I'm too busy for a 2.5 hour long premiere. I'm sitting down for the 4th time to try to finish this off. Over the first few seasons, they brilliantly summarized a bunch of storylines over musical montage. Now, apparently, it has to happen every f***ing episode which has to be a minimum of an hour and fifteen minutes. God, thus show really went to s***.
  9. Carcillo back. Again. He'd better not f***ing play.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 1, 2014 -> 01:49 PM) I can only hope The League never has as bad of an episode as they had last week. That was brutal and a complete waste of time. I thought it was hilarious! I was wishing it were an 80 minute movie. The League is on point this year.
  11. Someone take Brady out behind the shed and end his misery.
  12. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 09:20 PM) Right after I drop Knile Davis. Ugh. Dropping Knile Davis = dumb. Either roll with him if/when Charles goes down (if you have JC) or trade him for twice his value to Charles' owner.
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 09:34 PM) She has 3 TEs? No. Two because Davis didn't play last week. I told her to reject a trade for Donnell. Maybe I forgot to type that.
  14. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 29, 2014 -> 09:23 PM) So, uh, Tom Brady has negative points right now. Age hath caught him. My wife is going to murder me. She came into tonight up 9 points and for some reason her opponent started KC's defense (projected for 4 points) and they have 14. She had two options to have a big score from her Tight End, but I told her twice that she should hold off if Vernon Davis plays. One was Larry Donnell, who put up like 30 points and the other was Heath Miller who put up 14 points. She is now down 129 to 136. All she had to do was not listen to me. :-(
  15. Paul Konerko. He's been with the Sox seemingly as long as I've been a die-hard. I grew up with him, went to college with him, became an adult with him. I will miss him - the ultimate pro. I remember working at Blockbuster when they'd just struck a deal with DirecTV, so I could put the games on. PK called out Frank Thomas! Holy crap, what's this kid doing?! Many years, many bombs later, PK is a World Champion and I can't thank him enough for the mega hits he got during that run. I am excited to be there on the day his statue is unveiled. Despite the obvious playoffs and World Series heroics, my favorite memory is his 3 homerun game. I was sitting behind homeplate like 20 rows, and it was glorious. The insane, mega 1st half he had in 2012 (.329 average, .932 OPS) at age 36 is a testament to his work ethic. We love you, PK.
  16. Joe, some of your requested updates were added to NHL 15 via a 1.6 gb patch yesterday. God, I am so, so obsessed with NHL 15.

Put me in the pro Gotham group, and as the world's biggest Batman pay he, that's saying a lot.
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 24, 2014 -> 03:04 PM) I highly recommend Spigen. They make some of the nicest looking and best quality cases. Never heard of them, now must have them.
