So, throughout the WOrld Series I knew that I wanted to get the official Sox cap with the World Series logo on it. I went to the White Sox web site today, and my concerns first arose when I realized that my hat size was not listed (7 3/8) s***, i thought to myself. So I then selected 7 1/2 and went to "place my order" It then said that these were unavailable, which I assume means, out of print and sold out. I decided to try my luck on ebay, and typed in white sox world series cap. Not only is the top thing the exact hat i want (with logo on side) it is also fitted at 7 3/8!! AND it was cheaper than mlb.com (29.99) AND the seller has a feedback of 200+ God smiled on me this day, and I am happy. Oh, and the White Sox won the World Series!

QUOTE(DePloderer @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 04:00 PM) I think I included everyone. Hope you like it. its f***ing beautiful. your best work.

yes, but if i ever hear the BUZZING again it will be too soon. Not only that, but having never given a damn about a game at Enron/Minute Maid, I never realized how poorly it was designed. The homerun tape doing zig zags on a concrete wall, a porch in left field jutting out that creates a wall for outfielders to run into, and of course, the pointless hill/pole in centerfield. What stupid ideas these were, huh?

QUOTE(Nokona @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 05:52 PM) Kennyball. Ozzieball. Reinyball. I wont argue. Hawkball. we didn't need Junior.

nothing you can do. there is absolutely NOTHING that could upset me right now. except maybe having my member removed. other than that... NOTHING!! the white sox are world champions. how friggin' sweet!
-
absolutely amazing to be a white sox fan!
-
that catch was so incredible. immediately it has to go down as one of the greatest catches in white sox history... possibly THE greatest catch! WE WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!
-
I'm sure JR already has it, and it will be displayed beautifully in his office.
-
we won the world series...

QUOTE(chisox72 @ Oct 26, 2005 -> 02:25 PM) Furthermore, and they just mentioned it on Boers and Bernstein, what the hell is with the coral reef growing on Astacio's face? It was almost too gross to look at. that s*** was pretty nasty. i believe it was some sort of mutated version of what Kordell Stewart has...

un f***ing believable. that's what this season has been. 5 runs in one inning off of Oswalt. Let's get some more and finish these b****es off!

first, the nhl 2k series doesn't compare to EA's, IMO, second, I expect more out of a system that wants me to go 360, instead of sticking with my current BOX. ive got halo2 online... what else is there?

QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:36 AM) I HATE when people reply with "cubbie this" "cubie that" If he truely is a cub fan - then my bad for this post but, why even say that? thats retarded, thats like me saying you a cub fan because you dont like the players i like or the music i like or something. But yeah, you are right in the fact you just had a question and got a stupid answer, but heh, sorda was a stupid question aswell - what are we going to do to help you see the first pitch? :| im guessing the cubbie reference was to me. if that dude can name one time they showed the home teams opening pitch, then this entire thread has a point. to call me a cubs fan lacks knowledge and tact. PS... jumping on this board with less than 20 posts and ripping someone for making a valid point does not a long tenure make. welcome to the board, now take it easy!

get...over...it... in all my years, watching the world series, they have never shown the first pitch. you want to see it, drop a grand and go to the ballpark!

QUOTE(beck72 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 07:40 AM) Trading Rowand's not going to happen. The Yanks don't have what the sox need--which is more SP pitching in AAA and AA. Even if they did, Anderson isn't a guaranteed improvement over Aaron. Rowand will likely have a 2006 closer to his 2004 yr. I think a lot of his drop off is probably due to playing everyday. In 2004, he only played in 140 games, compared to 157 this yr. He should be able to handle the grind better next yr. And Ozzie should try to get him some more days off. That didn't happen this yr with Pods' injury yeah, those extra 17 games in september really show why he was no where near his 2004 prodection in april/may/june/july...

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 20, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) I didn't realize it was the same song that they used in the family guy episode until now. That just multiplies my amusement. yeah. that songs' been around for awhile. some people even recognize it as Journey, and not "that Family Guy" song.

wow, those blog sports stories sure are accurate. what a douchebag. ---THREAD DELETE---

You know what's really great? The fact that the national media picked up on this story. It was all over the Dan Patrick Show today, and this story just shows off the great personality of the players on this team. Something tells me Manny Ramirez would not sing along...
