I was happy to see El Duque go out there and get it done, but I still think we need insurance. I no longer feel that it is necessary to get Schmidt, Zito, or Burnett, but a guy like Redman or Lilly would look fantastic on this team as insurance.

Jeff Weaver could be a solid fifth starter, however, I'm starting to turn the corner and think that the Sox really don't need a starter for what they would have to give up. We need bullpen help, and maybe help at 3B. I've decided if I take Joe Crede for what he is, he can get the job done. He is a great defensive 3B and sometimes comes up the with clutch hit (last night).

geez, everyone talks about how disappointing the yankees have been this year, but how about the red sox? neither of these teams are 10 games above .500. if the orioles were halfway decent (though thank you for beating the twins) they could have run away with this. Red Sox suck Yankees suck.
