  1. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 08:44 AM) When they got blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks I knew it was over. Usually even team full of retreads gets unusually hot for 3 games out of 34...not these dudes. cha-ching!
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Mar 10, 2014 -> 09:18 PM) Over under 1 win for the 76ers for the remainder of the season? :-D
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 10, 2014 -> 07:47 PM) Peverly had a cardiac event and they successfully defibrillated him. When he regained consciousness, he asked to get back in the game. Then he's a f***ing idiot. #careerover

    2014 TV thread

    We're a week behind on The Walking Dead. I just sat through 30 minutes of Rick hiding under a bed from characters we've never met before. If my wife didn't want to watch this, I'd have dropped it already. Instead, I will just continue to complain about the badness. Like the fake red hair on the guy from Band of Brothers and Southland. WTF is that. It's like he used a Crayola marker to color it.
  5. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 11:37 AM) He was great, but I'll punch the first person in the face I see that tells me the Bears suck for releasing him. Well, yes, the purpose of my post was simply to recognize the brief period where he was a monster. He's been s***ty for quite a bit now, and the NFL did its best to neuter the return game, but man, I will NEVER forget the opening kickoff of Super Bowl 41.
  6. That was an amazing game. Jo has done so much and put in so much work to get to this ridiculous level.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 7, 2014 -> 05:01 PM) Hes making the OK sign so I assume that means he'll be in OK city? It's a sign as if he just drained a three. Welcome to the NBA of the last 5 years.
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 7, 2014 -> 04:39 PM) The old Steve curse. Enjoy LA Melo. It comes in multiple colors.
  9. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 7, 2014 -> 04:03 PM) If you give me Noah, Melo and Rose I don't give a f*** about who is #1, who is #2, and who is #3. Well. Yes. This. Add to that Jimmy just focusing on defense at the 2, and my-oh-my. PF won't even matter.
  10. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Mar 7, 2014 -> 03:57 PM) The Joakim Noah role we are seeing in his current form is not the Joakim Noah role that we would see along side Melo or Rose. He's still been an All-Star two straight years while Derrick Rose has been rehabbing with grandmothers. Obviously will Melo and Rose on the team he wouldn't sniff the usage nor the dimes he's got right now.
  11. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 7, 2014 -> 10:23 AM) Derrick Rose has played like 3 games in the past 900 days. Anthony would absolutely be the #1 superstar in Chicago. Emphatically this. Rose would be the third best player on the team behind Melo and Joakim until he shows me something.
  12. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 03:34 PM) Melo would be a superstar in Chicago IMHO. I was going to reply with every NBA city. But hopefully you get the point. Carmelo Anthony is an NBA superstar.
  13. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 03:34 PM) Melo would be a superstar in Chicago IMHO. Melo would be a superstar in Milwaukee.
  14. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 03:34 PM) Melo would be a superstar in Chicago IMHO. Melo would be a superstar in Memphis.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 12:22 PM) Translation: "I WILL NOT LET THIS MEME DIE!" LOL, this.
  16. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 09:46 PM) Oh short term it works for NYR, and I like St. Louis, but medium to long term it works for TB easy. Eh. Why? Because they get to have an overpaid Callahan and two can-miss prospects? Not buying it.
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 5, 2014 -> 07:42 PM) Disagree here. They are giving up a 1st and a 2nd for a season+ of a 38 year old. If the Rangers make the conference finals, that 2nd turns into a 1st (so two 1st round picks overall). And he was ONLY going to the Rangers. So that was a ridiculous amount to give up. Plus, they may or may not sign Callahan, who is younger, though not as skilled offensively, but obviously captain material. And TB is starting to rebuild on the fly anyway. Most think TB won this trade. Meh. 38 or not, Marty is still dynamite. Callahan is about to become overpaid. St. Louis is an actual difference maker. I'll take him out er Callahan and two unknowns any day.
  18. http://instagram.com/p/lKxIEDlsS8/ "One more year, then... He gone! Senior citizens, although slow & dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose." Yes, that's a Dumb and Dumber quote.
