  1. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 24, 2018 -> 09:11 AM) President Good Brains has very good brains. The best brains.
  2. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 22, 2018 -> 11:07 PM) ATL, CHA, LA, MEM, DAL all won tonight. Kings and Magic (two worst records right now) play tomorrow so that was a big tank loss right there. Delicious. Also, Boogie is a man.
  3. Jonathan Toews is a shell of his former self. The fact the guy never got to a PPG is absurd.
  4. Apparently Kawhi and the Spurs are "growing apart" due to discontent over his prolonged rehab. Dunn, Niko, non 2018 1st for Kawhi. Make the offer and give them something to think about. And before anyone in here gripes about Kris freaking Dunn, point guards are a dime a dozen in this NBA, and if you believe in Hoi-ball, the next man up could take care of business. PG open tryouts SG Zach LaVine SF Kawhi Leonard PF Lauri Markkanen C open tryouts Those three right there are a building block to a title.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 21, 2018 -> 10:36 PM) One thing is for sure. SNL hit a home run last year with all the funny Trump stuff. Saturday's show was filled with Trump stuff and it was boring. SNL needs to move on. That was last year; this is now. Trump stuff has not been funny, SNL. They need some fresher stuff. One skit was unwatchable. A game show called "Does it Even Matter?" The questions were all about Trump and his atrocities with the punch line "does it even matter?" The guests would say yes then the game show host would freak out about trump and say nothing matters. The audience was taken aback by how boring the skit was. Unfunny. Sad!
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 21, 2018 -> 07:45 PM) I wonder if Trump is going to get Mexico to also pay the expense of deporting all these people back to Mexico. He is probably making deals right now. It's not just people whose country of origin is Mexico...
  7. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jan 19, 2018 -> 01:00 PM) Every team is in NBA hell unless you luck into the Hall of Fame caliber player in the draft. Welcome to the NBA since...forever. And the team’s one job was to suck enough this year to have a chance at that. Instead, they’re pointlessly winning games behind the “great” Hoiberg. Can’t even tank right.
  8. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jan 17, 2018 -> 08:02 PM) Tried to warn you guys that Hoiberg wasn't the worst coach in history High praise
  9. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jan 17, 2018 -> 12:23 PM) You aren't a little bit excited for Dunn, Markannen and Levine? You're not a little optimistic that Fred's offense is actually pretty fun to watch when he has guys that can run it? Nope. This band of ballers is destined for NBA hell.
  10. Bulls are locked into NBA hell for another decade. We needed a tank season or two.
  11. My complaint with Nintendo consoles is the lack of longevity and the sever lack of quality titles. However, the quality titles are indeed great. Super Mario Galaxy remains one of the greatest games I’ve ever played, and if I wanted to burn my money, I’d get rah Nintendo console that releases one or two Mario games. Alas, there’s no longevity and they stop developing for the systems way too quickly.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 3, 2018 -> 12:35 PM) http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/...nald-trump.html Trump didn't want to win, says NYT. Long read. Didn't get it all. Not sure what to make of it. This is not the NYT. It's New York Magazine republishing content from a book written by Michael Wolff, a man well-known for embellishing and creating stories and portraying them as journalistic.
  13. I bought a Samsung 4k television over the holiday. The visual leap is akin to the leap from SD to HD back in the day. Watching Planet Earth 2 on the Ultra HD Netflix stream was a sight to behold. Also, I am incredibly impressed by the Smart TV aspects of this one in particular. Using the menus is actually enjoyable, switching between inputs (and controlling devices) is super easy, the integration with my soundbar was out of the box, and the apps run flawlessly and are enjoyable to use. I am pleased. The 50" Samsung 4K television was only $459 at Costco. I went there to get the 50" Samsung 1080p television for $429 and didn't even realize the 4K was only $30 more. Glad I made that choice. I also upgraded to the PS4 Pro and can confirm that NBA 2k18 looks way better.
  14. I bought a Samsung 4k television over the holiday and then yesterday took the plunge in upgrading to a PS4 Pro. Transferring data from the PS4 to the Pro was a cinch.
  15. All The Money in The World was phenomenal.
  16. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 22, 2017 -> 10:44 AM) The Cavs announcers were shocked at how good the Bulls team was. That was an exciting game last night. Team fell short but anyone who thinks this team is a bottom 5 team is crazy. Was nice to see Lauri have a big game. Anyone excited about the Bulls doing anything other than losing right now doesn't understand the NBA well enough.
  17. QUOTE (Tony @ Dec 21, 2017 -> 06:36 PM) Honestly, it would be ideal if 9 takes place like a year or two after the events of 8, she is killed in the scroll to open 9, “the resistance is recovering from the loss of their leader after xyz” I feel like it will bother me if they stretch it out and we know she’ll never be there Or worse if they go the CGI character route...
  18. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 20, 2017 -> 08:09 AM) Joe Biden is one year younger than Bernie Sanders. I think people like Joe Biden, but don't really know his voting history or his stance on most issues. They just like him because he is laid back and goofy. Not sure if that's a veiled comment directed towards me. I'm aware of his voting history and his developing stances on issues.
  19. I would be shocked if Hillary ran again. I have no interest in backing her as a candidate after it was clear her baggage at least helped Trump become the President. Here's the folks I think will make a legitimate run: Joe Biden Kamala Harris Kirsten Gillibrand Bernie Sanders I'd be happy to support any of the first three, most excited about Biden. Bernie will be 79 years old at the next election, so I sure as hell hope he doesn't run. I also don't want the party divided which of course his candidacy would bring.
