  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 8, 2017 -> 01:44 PM) I think this is the concept they have been building towards for quite a while, I don't think there will be a radical change any time soon. 3ds is gonna phase out because of this thing The consoles aren't all the same, I understand Nintendo has a ton of 3rd party issues. But I go into this thread and you guys pump up No Mans Sky like it is gonna change gaming forever and one day after it is released 99 percent of the people hyping it are like "this is f***ing boring what's next". Very few times have I been that excited for a game only to s*** on it one day after I bought it And your point about 3ds not having good 3rd party games is flat out wrong I was being a hater. My experience with Nintendo the past ten years is fairly consistent. Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Land games are f***ing great. I honestly don't think I've ever enjoyed a game more front to back more than I did Super Mario Galaxy. That game honestly made the Wii purchase worth it for me. But there's no longevity. I've had my PS4 since 2014, and it's still delivering fantastic titles. I get to try something new and exciting on a monthly basis while playing top-notch sports games. The Nintendo gaming systems offer none of that. SO without those yearly sports simulation staples and fantastic third party games, they're stuck with JUST exclusives which Sony is also kicking everyone's asses in including Nintendo. Bang for buck, the Wii was "worth it" while the PS4 has paid for itself 55 times over and is still delivering outstanding experiences non-stop. As for No Man's Sky, I still have never experienced anything like it. The 30+ hours I spent with the game were completely new, original, and exciting for me. Once I cracked the code, I didn't see a reason to go back, but I got as much entertainment out of that as I did Super Mario 3D Land.
  2. James Harden could miss his next 4,731 free throws and still have a higher career FT% than DeAndre Jordan
  3. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Mar 8, 2017 -> 01:22 PM) I'm usually a Nintendo hater but... I dropped $250 for a used Wii U a couple years back with the system, the classic controller, Mario Kart, the two Mario platformers, Wind Waker and Pikmin 3. Throw in another $50 for the last Zelda and I think that's $300 well spent. 6 games. I over estimated.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 8, 2017 -> 01:13 PM) Zelda is stunning. And I f***ing love the pro controller Nintendo guy gonna Nintendo guy. Enjoy the 7 games they make that actually don't suck before the system dies and they launch some weird new concept in 5 years and put out 7 games that don't suck etc. etc. I thought I'd learned my lesson with the Wii and then I got a 3DS. Same story. Here's your Mario game, here's your Zelda game, here's your Mario Kart game, now enjoy a bunch of s***ty third party games. /s***tingonnintendoguy

  6. QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 7, 2017 -> 09:45 AM) Alex Marvez‏Verified account @alexmarvez 8m8 minutes ago More Not sure if out there but source tells @sn_nfl that @ChicagoBears expected to make push to sign @Vikings UFA WR @ceeflashpee84 Cordarrelle Patterson doing anything for ya? I honestly think that dude has top 10 upside.
  7. Glennon will be the Bears' next starting QB at about $15 million per. Glennon sucks.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 7, 2017 -> 05:33 AM) Also, would anybody complain if Kawhi Leonard won his third straight DPOY and the MVP this year? My guess is Russell Westbrook would complain if Kawhi Leonard won MVP. BTW, he's down to 10.0 dimes per game. One more sub 10 assist game and Russ's elusive triple double for the season comes to a halt. With that cast of clowns he's teamed up with, I'm not surprised he's only averaging 9.0 assists over the last 30 days.

  10. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 6, 2017 -> 09:37 AM) "There's no way this doesn't blow up in Trump's face and sink him for good" says increasingly nervous man for the seven-millionth time Ha. Yes.
  11. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 6, 2017 -> 05:22 AM) Russian mystery threatens to consume Washington http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/05/politics/don...gton/index.html http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/06/politics/tru...x.html?adkey=bn 65% want a special prosecutor appointed, while only 32% believe Congress can handle it correctly Amazingly, through all this, Trump's popularity rating ticked up 1 point, from 44% to 45%. I'm going to assume those numbers were all compiled before the Obama is a bad or sick guy story controversy broke on Twitter. Don't bother with assumptions. The fact that you're reading CNN means you don't understand the people who support this clown. Can we just have the big reveal already so impeachment can begin? If where there's smoke there's fire is a thing, then what is it when the White House is literally ablaze while Trump is in Florida screwing around?

    Lent Thread

    I'm not the least bit religious but usually give up something. I gave up Diet Coke this year. That said, since I'm dealing with surgery recovery and kicked booze 101 days ago, I'm going to go ahead and jump back on the soda train. f*** that.
  14. The government in this country is such a damn joke.
  15. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 2, 2017 -> 07:21 AM) Here's Sessions explaining why it's very important to prosecute people for perjury, a thing he committed in his confirmation hearings: https://twitter.com/lhfang/status/837155176116973568 Get this scumbag the f*** out of here.
  16. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 2, 2017 -> 07:07 AM) Stop lying. And here's the video of the question from Franken. https://twitter.com/JamieOGrady/status/8371...src=twsrc%5Etfw He was asked if anyone from Trump's campaign had contact with Russia during the campaign, and he lied by refusing to disclose that he himself had had contact with the Russians. that'll be it for brett05 for a week and then he'll come back in here with more lies. Wow, the GOP really has done a number on folks.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 1, 2017 -> 08:47 PM) Sessions lied to congress about contact with the Russians during Trumps campaign. Say it ain't so! I can't imagine he'll hold the position At this time next week. Soon enough the dots will connect directly to the orange one and this'll be over.
  18. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Mar 1, 2017 -> 09:24 AM) You do, it's incredible. Well then it's decided!
  19. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 1, 2017 -> 08:05 AM) The radio, ya know where all good sources come from. I actually missed your link to be honest and just saw your guys' posts so my bad. I've been sick the last few days, leave me alone. I feel ya, brother.
  20. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 1, 2017 -> 07:54 AM) Durant is going to be back for the playoffs most likely, I wouldn't bury the Warriors yet. Where'd you hear this?
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 1, 2017 -> 07:18 AM) Congrats on your 4th ring, LeBron. It's going to come with a billion asterisks. But congrats, I guess. This is where I have to ask whether being an iron man counts for anything?
  22. I truly hope KD is not hurt too badly, but it is not sounding good. I'm hoping for the best, as I think Cavs/Warriors with everyone healthy would be an epic series. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources-warri...-085809477.html The Golden State Warriors are bracing for the possibility that All-Star forward Kevin Durant could be lost for the rest of the regular season – or perhaps longer – with a left knee injury, league sources told The Vertical.
