  1. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 08:29 PM) Also, I'm not sure being the kid of a pro athlete is that big of an advantage. Yes they have access to facilities, coaches, players that other kids don't but most of those kids lose motivation to succeed at a higher level because of these comforts while kids growing up with no money and no way out other than basketball do. Look at MJ's kids. Heck I went to high school with bo Jackson's kid and he wasn't even a good player at the high school level. Is that it? They only have access to professional coaching, facilities, and players? Yeah, that's nothing.
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 12:59 PM) Trolling hard today... That's amazing.
  3. QUOTE (TRU @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 08:26 AM) I guess I should have added "When its all said and done" Didn't necessarily mean right now.. Ok, that I can get behind. The book is still open.
  4. QUOTE (TRU @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 08:18 AM) I guarantee you no one in Cleveland cares about LeBron going to Miami now. He left as a free agent, get over it already. What other superstars are winning championships without a decent team around them? How is that a knock on LeBron? 6 straight trips to the finals (With two different teams), 3 championships, and probably another 4-5 years of dominance left in the tank.. As hard of a pill as it is to swallow, he will be the greatest of all time even if the Jordan crowd refuses to admit it. Well I think you took it too far there. Jordan had better numbers in a defensive era and 6 titles.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 06:58 AM) I mean, he rises to the moment and gets those blocked shots and steals...but he doesn't put 100% consistent effort out there in every game on the defensive side, not even the playoffs. I'm not sure what you mean by this above post. I'm not sure how you have come to this conclusion. Is it because of The Decision? It is? Oh, ok. Because LeBron is a maniac on the defensive end.
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 06:42 AM) In the end, LeBron is a great defensive player, when he is motivated to be...but Jordan did it consistently, on both sides of the ball. I don't understand the motivated part of the post above.
  7. I am legit elated for LeBron. Bye bye haters. Ok, promise fulfilled now come to the Bulls. Favorite non-Bull ever.
  8. Big Game James is on a hell of a run here.
  9. QUOTE (shipps @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 03:11 PM) According to ESPN the Knicks are interested in trading for Derek. Lee?
  10. If we considered every pitcher who had a horrible 3 game stretch to be done then every pitcher in the game not named Clayton Kershaw would be done.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 06:26 PM) White Sox will not win until they outscore an opponent. White Sox will not outscore an opponent until they score more runs than them.
  12. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 10:20 AM) The expectations for LeBron are absurd. He's supposed to play 45 MPG, carry their offense AND defense for 100 games a year and never have an off game regardless of how many defenders are shading in his direction. It's not like he's the only freak athlete out there either, he's routinely been guarded by strong 6'7" guys with absurd reach (Kawhi, George, Iggy, ect). If we held even someone like Kobe to the same standards, he would look a lot more sketchy. The difference is he got enough help to still get a ring when he goes 7-27 in a game 7.
  13. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 08:29 PM) I sincerely doubt the Bears shell out the money Miller wants Why? The Bears fairly consistently spend big in free agency.
  14. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 10:17 AM) Whoever overpays Barnes in the off-season is really going to regret it. The epitome of mediocrity. BULLS!
  15. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 09:54 AM) You all act like this is some new criticism. It's been a criticism of his by fans and analysts for a long stretch of his career. Hell, even in this series, until Game 5 it was "where the hell is Lebron? Why is he taking 15-20 shots a game and not 30?" Suddenly he has two of his career-best games and it's back to "Lebron can never be questioned!" GMAFB. No one's saying don't question him. He's 2/5 right now in NBA Finals. Go ahead and question that. Don't question the fact that some of his greatest gifts are getting his teammates involved and being a f***ing basketball genius. The last two games he decided to forget trying to get some losers on his roster going and went out there and got it. He's probably the best team player in the history of the league, and yes, he can take the f*** the game over when he wants. 77 games 27.2 ppg 7.5 rpg 7 apg 50% over 1,000 career regular season games. But he's not leveraging his gifts. You GMAFB and come back with an argument that's actually valid.
  16. Guy's got 27.2/7.5/7 for his f***ing career on 50% shooting and he's not leveraging his gifts? He's a model citizen off the court, hilarious, and works his ass off, and has averaged 77 games played per season over 13 years in The League. But yep, should totally be 40/10/10 because why exactly? GET THE F*CK OVER THE DECISION PEOPLE
  17. Is Kerr really saying all this? Blaming everything on injuries and suspensions. Totally not acting like a head coach. Whiny b****.
  18. Steve Kerr earning a fine in postgame right now. Fairly embarrassing for him to be honest.
  19. I don't understand how people can still dislike LeBron. He's awesome and humble.
  20. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:42 PM) Yes. 100%. There's nothing anyone on GSW can do to take it from LBJ. Excuses. LeBron has destroyed the Cavs. Yes, and he should probably be fined. Suspended? They wouldn't dare. Of course. But he SHOULD be suspended.
  21. LeBron so good. Curry should be suspended.
  22. This is amazing! Soooooo Curry three his mouthguard at a fan. That's an easy suspension right?
