  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 9, 2016 -> 11:57 AM) http://deadspin.com/we-have-found-it-the-p...born-1775539534 awwww Mike North, I would say I miss you but then i would be lying Ha, had no idea that clown was still out there.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 9, 2016 -> 09:57 AM) So I managed to give myself 6 stitches last night. Friday night I got home from a company outing in the dark. I took my laptop and put it on to the dining room table, knocking a candle my wife had put up there over, shattering the glass container it was in. No big deal, cleaned up the mess and put it in the trash. Last night while taking the bag out, it brushed against my calf, cutting the back of my calf wide open. Two hours of ER time later, I am up to date on my tetanus shot, got a couple of X-ray's to look for any glass shards, and got six stitches in me. Luckily they needed my room so they took care of me pretty quickly to make space for a real emergency. Fun way to spend a Sunday night. That sucks.
  3. QUOTE (kevo880 @ May 6, 2016 -> 11:16 AM) We went to Maui and couldn't have had a better time. Plenty of options to be active or just relax on the beach. This. The zipline tour was amazing.
  4. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ May 5, 2016 -> 08:33 PM) I'm trying to plan a honeymoon for next March, but we're really struggling. We fear Aruba may be too hot (like way too hot) although we did find nonstop flights roundtrip plus a resort on the beach for a solid price. We thought about Grand Turk, St Kitts or Barbados but all of those are 2-stop flights and require hours of layovers. Then, we thought maybe a cruise which combines a lot of these islands, but it seems too casual. Hawaii is cool, but Honolulu is essentially Miami minus the extreme nightlife and Kauai is another layover filled trip. Ideas? Just fly into Maui and stop thinking about it.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 8, 2016 -> 03:53 PM) So I updated MLB The Show 15 to newest rosters recently, and have been playing a few games. I realize, that while this team isn't fully loaded, it's way better than last year. Playing with that roster last year, there were multiple non-MLB level players in the everyday starting lineup. With the Jackson addition, we have extras on the bench. We also have a hell of a pitching staff. Anyway, I think the Sox are going to contend this year. Boom Video games = real life
  6. Austin Jackson belongs in the Major Leagues. He is changing games with his fielding. Last year the White Sox had like 5 players in their starting lineup who were below replacement level. This year they have all Major Leaguers and a pitching staff that's awesome. This team is legit.
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ May 5, 2016 -> 12:29 PM) Using your mailbox to get ACME products? I giggled.
  8. QUOTE (knightni @ May 6, 2016 -> 07:01 AM) Avengers...? You mean, Civil War, right? They might as well have called it Avengers. It's all the same, now.

    QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 5, 2016 -> 06:17 PM) Sure they are, that's why Spiderman is in the MCU now. I know Snyder isn't going anywhere now, but if he makes another piece of crap, he is done. Every time he makes a piece of crap, we say this. The guy's a clown, but he must be one hellofa smooth talker.
  10. Johnson had best stay down!
  11. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 4, 2016 -> 11:24 AM) I think they'll both be great pitchers, but Rodon has the higher ceiling, while Nola has the higher floor. Agreed 100%.
  12. QUOTE (aryzner @ May 5, 2016 -> 09:43 PM) This game is pretty unwatchable. You must not have been watching the past few years. It's a two run game, they have the best record in the AL, and though the game is endless, the amount of at bats left is a good thing. Oh, and no Hawk. This is still heaven.
  13. I'd welcome this stud to Chicago with open arms.
  14. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ May 1, 2016 -> 05:43 PM) And Slauson looks like he has been released, as well. That one is tough to understand. Was not making a ton of money and still a valuable player. I know we drafted Whitehair and signed Larsen/Ramirez, but none of them are as good as Slauson. Makes the Slauson cut more understandable. Damn. Slauson was dependable.
  15. I really love Sticks & Stone. I also love not having Hawk.
  16. Time to breathe for a few minutes. It's a shame this is a first round series
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 09:06 PM) Kane usually doesn't have that problem... Hiyo
