Interesting to release an album and then not make it available for anyone to actually buy it.

QUOTE (Coach @ Feb 11, 2016 -> 07:42 AM) Ozzie is managing the Venzuela team. Does anyone think this is a move to get him back on the Sox when Ventura is fired/contract not renewed at the end of this season? Oh yes. That's clearly what is happening. The Daily Nutjob has reported that the Venezuelan team actually called JR to see what he wanted them to do before making their management decision.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 10, 2016 -> 11:56 AM) They would trade him well before they released him. Are you on some planet where Derrick Rose still has trade value? The only way you're dealing him is for a worse contract.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 9, 2016 -> 11:44 AM) These flu bugs that run through households are ruthless. Something I never experienced until I had kids. Friday the 3-year old pukes up her entire breakfast. Saturday night my wife couldn't even keep water down. Sunday the 5-month old finishes a bottle of milk and immediately pukes the entire thing up. Last night it was my turn to spend the night in misery in the bathroom. Luckily the kids didn't get it that bad, but it's crazy how it just goes from person to person, day by day. Yeah these little kids really wreck the ol' immune system.

I need Gar and Pax canned.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Feb 8, 2016 -> 01:26 PM) Would the Bulls be able to acquire Griffin or Durant in a trade? I presume no, but probably worth discussing. Not worth discussing - the Bulls don't trade to make their team better, so don't waste your time.

QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Feb 6, 2016 -> 11:59 AM) Anyone else excited for Deadpool. All I've heard from so called movie experts who have seen it is that it's brilliant and hilarious. Can't wait for next weekend! I was a big fan of the comic - and Ryan Reynolds captures him perfectly, it seems. very excited.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 6, 2016 -> 03:23 PM) Bulls starting lineup: Rose Moore Snell Gibson Bairstow Lord help us. Rose will easily score 40 tonight.

"Paxson nearly pulled the trigger on a June 2003 draft-day trade with Toronto that would have enabled the Bulls to move from the seventh to the fourth pick. Wade was Paxson's target. Most people predicted that Wade, a 6-foot-4-inch guard from Richards High School and Marquette University, would be a solid pro. But few predicted the elite status Wade already has reached. Paxson ended up drafting Hinrich, a solid acquisition. But whenever the Bulls face Miami, as they will Saturday, it's hard not to envision Wade, who is averaging 23.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game, playing for his hometown team. Paxson didn't want to part with Donyell Marshall at the time, killing the deal." http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2005-02...ls-miami-sports Donyell Marshall? Wtf we could have had bosh or wade. This clown is still running things?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 5, 2016 -> 01:34 AM) But unlike Bush, Hillary has the media in her hip pocket. The key for her is they WANT her to win. So that means a lot and will assure her the Presidency likely in a landslide. This post seems like it was written 6 months or 8 years ago.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 4, 2016 -> 09:40 PM) Bernie Sanders has become a much better debater and taking O'Malley out of the equations has added to contrast between the two. I think the biggest question is how many of the young people that he's getting out there between ages 18-29 will still be motivated to vote for Hillary in a national election when/if Sanders has to concede the nomination? It's something like 75-80% right now. Even Obama wasn't close to that number in 2008. And it's mostly because of a stupid hashtag and memes.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 28, 2016 -> 09:40 AM) Phil Jackson rode Jordan and Pippen harder than Thibs ever ran anyone. Check out Tim Duncan's minutes early in his career. No need to wait. Gar/Pax rules. The reason the team doesn't win championships is because of the coaches THEY HIRE. That is clearly not their fault. And before you tell me I don't know how the NBA runs, I do. I know it's not like baseball. Making the playoffs and losing in the first couple of rounds, even if you do it 10 years in a row, isn't so special in the NBA. Yeah, but Jordan and Pippen were taking steroids.

I was unaware the Clippers had any interest in moving Blake Griffin. Oh, they don't? Ok, thanks for nothing...

The Bulls biggest problem: John Paxson and Gar Forman

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 27, 2016 -> 11:40 AM) Jason Goff was kind of indicating this morning that he thinks Gar Forman gets fired at seasons end. They were joking about Hoiberg yelling at Gar, complaining that he could be back in Ames instead of this. Goff then said something like "Hoiberg only has about 30 more games to yell at Gar" then they commented about cozying up to Paxson instead. It was interesting. Good God, just clean these clowns out of here. -
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 26, 2016 -> 11:09 AM) The Martian was ok, not much more than that. How dare you.

QUOTE (Baron @ Jan 22, 2016 -> 03:37 PM) Cespedes saved 14 runs in LF last season. Our outfield as a whole gave up about around 30. Adam Eaton and obviously Garcia were the main contributors to that. Say by adding him in LF and switching around the OF you get close to breaking even. I dont think Eaton is going to have a repeat of 2015 defensively. What do you value 30 runs at? In 2005, that was about 30 wins!

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 22, 2016 -> 03:33 PM) This is exactly what happened last time in Cleveland. LeBron gets to be best player, GM and coach. They could have had Wiggins instead of Love, but now they have two power forwards signed to max deals they aren't living up to, Shump signed for good money and Smith just...there. Watch them fall short again and LeBron bolt again. They don't know how to control LeBron. Riley called the shots in Miami, but here no one can check him. That team is so much better with Wiggins on the wing and the cash flexibility that entry deal would give them than Kevin Love not being able to dominate the ball and just being a rebounding 3 point chucker who can't play without the ball.
-
QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 22, 2016 -> 03:05 PM) This does feel sooo much like Lebron. The only problem here is Cespedes is barely a difference maker. Too bad the Sox OF is so bad that he'd be their best one.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 20, 2016 -> 04:06 PM) A) They've got an A+: Fantastic drafters, arguably the best. I dunno. Hitting in the 20s doesn't make up for missing earlier... doug mcdermott rings a bell. -
I think this Nats crap is all BS. If they really offered 5/105, it'd be locked up. It's Sox or Metropolitans, and Cespedes isn't a long-term NL guy and he knows it. Sox will lock up this clown before Monday at about 4/85 with a 5th year team option + buyout.
