QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Aug 17, 2015 -> 05:00 AM) Generous, sure. Amazing? I don't buy it. Generosity does not erase all the dickish crap he's done in the past. Before J4L jumps me, I don't consider guys like Jordan or Kobe amazing either. Why don't you go ahead and list out "all the dickish crap he's done in the past"?

Whoa, Wite popped his cherry.

Hawk says something moronic and you're upset he got called out? -
I was late to the ballgame, but I am really enjoying The Show. No Diamond Dynasty, though, just Franchise. Had my banner game last night, CGSO form Samardjiza, 14ks against 1 bb and 3 hits. Won 7-0 and pounded out 17 hits. I'm sitting pretty at 15-9 at this point. The game, graphically, is superb, and the gameplay is just flawless. For some reason I can't dominate with Sale, though.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 21, 2015 -> 06:40 AM) I agree with your logic here, the Wii 2 or something like Super Wii would have been way better. Like you said, the Wii U sounds like an add-on and when it was announced, everything focused on the controller. It really seemed like a new peripheral for the Wii. And even when more details were, announced the fact all your Wii stuff could still be used added confusion. Having said that, the Wii U was never going to resonate with the casual audience, which is why I think keeping the Wii brand was a mistake. The controller was expensive and its theoretical benefits should have been for hardcore gamers. Nintendo tried to get that causal audience anyways with Nintendoland, but it was never going to be another Wii Sports. Ultimately, they tried to leverage the Wii brand, but failed to build an offering at a price point that would appeal to the same customers. So, the Nintendo 3DS was the biggest selling video game system of 2014. Why aren't they making any new games that are worth a s***?

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 1, 2015 -> 02:45 PM) American Movie was it for me....one of the funniest low budget indy movies of all-time. Just the part about Brett Favre was hilarious. Of course, they were supposedly documenting the filming of an even lower budget movie called THE COVEN, which sounds a bit like that synopsis. So it's either that one or Waiting for Guffman. https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/imag...mp;fr=yfp-t-901 American Movie was amazing. I'll never forget the line "Oh KICK F*CKING ASS! I GOT A MASTERCARD!"

QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 08:24 PM) I would not trade Quintana and 2 top prospects for Puig. That's an overpay. Guerrero has little value at all....a prospect in the Sox #20 range. Straight up or not at all. And I don't trust Puig anyway. Fulmer is in A ball. Samardzija is a workhorse but his peripherals are questionable for long term deal. Quintana is nothing special. Puig is special. As for Fulmer being in A ball, woopteedoo. The dude will be on the big club next season.

I meant to say Quintana and Avi. Not Quintana and Puig.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 28, 2015 -> 07:02 AM) awesome, things have been looking up for you lately steve edit and your avatar cracks me up every time I see it Will Arnett is my guy. I've had a pretty solid last 8 months or so. Took a dream job, had a gorgeous daughter, now getting out of my pre-bubble burst home and upgrading to something much better in the post-baby era of life. Thanks.

The Sox have a chance to add Puig to a stable of reliable, ready to play younger players. This is a deal that could make them. To be able to build around Abreu/Puig on offense and Sale/Samarj/Rodon/Fulmer on the mound That's star power Time to deal Quintana, Puig, and any two prospect(s) not named Rodon, Anderson, or Fulmer for Puig and Guerrero.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 27, 2015 -> 07:41 PM) I did not expect a full-ask, all-cash offer on my Lombard ranch. Not at all. It's shopping time, boys. We were 15k over any comp, and I was worried that any offer would fail in appraisal even though our house is flawless and updated like hell with a basement bar and all that jazz. Worries no more!

Lots of babbling and blowing bubbles. We have the most adorable baby ever. I guess the hotness of my wife helped.

Remember when I told you all that Conor Gillaspie sucks? Way to argue with me. Next thing you know, people will say they need more than Yasiel Puig back for Jose Quintana or something moronic like that.
