  1. I again laughed my ass off this week. It's funny, when he went to grab for the toilet paper so his brother couldn't clean up, he said "I saw your dick!" It's the little things, that make me laugh!
  2. The Hawks dominated that one from start to finish... well done!
  3. What a fatty. Nothing new for Bartolo though...
  4. QUOTE (greasywheels121 @ Feb 20, 2009 -> 09:09 PM) http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-2...1,0,58668.story JOE.CREDE. is a Twin. I might just vomit a bit. This is a total spite signing... they could have had Orlando Hudson for less!
  5. 670 just reported that Amare Stoudemire might miss the rest of the season with an eye injury? Holy cow if that's true...
  6. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 19, 2009 -> 03:16 PM) (so don't get your hopes up of it being an early one). I never would. Considering he has no value to the Bulls, getting any pick in the top 30 is a great deal.
  7. Per the Score Thabo dealt to OKC for a 2009 first round pick. WHAT A DEAL! They have Phoenix and Denver and their own, but I’ll take that!
  8. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Feb 19, 2009 -> 12:14 PM) Got a link? That just seems to be one of the many rumors floating around out there--among other deals involving Hughes. I only report them as done deals if they will be done deals son!

    LOST!!!!

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 19, 2009 -> 11:58 AM) Fascinating theory Eh, the plane didn't crash though... they just appeared on the island. Lots of interesting theories in there though. The Locke leg theory is neat, although the island "fixed" his legs so needing to "reinjure" them makes no sense.

    Films Thread

Agreed on 21 being a train-wreck. The book (Bringing Down the House, couldn't use that name thanks Steve Martin) was much better. The movie was dogs***, and yes, came off as a made for USA flick.

    LOST!!!!

This season has been so awesome lately.
  12. Bulls are about to make another deal. Hughes for Tim Thomas and Jerome James. Why get a guy we sent home previously just to get rid of a guy we are sending home?
  13. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 19, 2009 -> 11:10 AM) Yep hence why so many teams are desperate for expiring contracts right now. The Nets would probably trade Vince Carter for Raef LaFrentz right now if they could. That's how bad things are. Looks like you're spot on.
  14. One source insists that, with the Kings trade, Bulls GM John Paxson felt his team had made enough moves.
  15. Reasons I like the deal 1. John Salmons - Being an avid fantasy basketball player, I've been able to follow this guy over the last few years. He's proven that when given the minutes, eh can be a very good scorer, a #2 option on a good team. Sure, he's 29, but we now have a relatively cheap option at SG for the next few years, and can let Gordon walk without worries. Gordon can go get overpaid somewhere as Salmons is 5 inches taller, plays defense, and can shoot/drive just as well as Gordon ever could. Getting Salmons at this price was a steal. He's a high-percent shooting guard and high-character as well. 2. Brad Miller is better than Noah, Gray, and Gooden - We actually have a center, now. I'd say Brad Miller is the best all-around center we've had since... Brad Miller. Sure, he's old, but his contract expires in 2010, so he's not going to hold us down, and our offense will run incredibly smoothly with him on the floor. It's going to be like we have two point guards. 3. We didn't trade anything of value to do this one - This means we still have some cards to play with as 2pm approaches today. If nothing more happens, I'll be disappointed, but even then at least we have a lot of valuable pieces. I've never seen a roster this chock full of guys who'd be an AWESOME #3 option on any team. Unfortunately, we need another #1. Reasons I don't like the deal 1. For this year, too many guards - We still have half a season left. I would be in favor of Salmons starting for us, but we'll see if that comes to fruition. I'd hate to get a guy like that, who's just waiting for his shot, and then have him buried on a roster that also boasts Rose, Hinrich, Gordon, Thabo, etc etc. This is why I feel another deal must be made. You obviously can't trade Gordon (BIRD Rights), but Hinrich should be shipped out of here. I didn't include Hughes, because he's either going to be traded or going to be Starbury'd. 2. It doesn't really solve anything - A 32 year old center and a 29 year old SG. Sure, both are upgrades to the current roster, and might get us into the 7th or 8th seed of the playoffs. That's probably a bad thing though, as the best talent comes out of the lottery, and this would keep us out of there after a first round ass-kicking from the Celtics or Magic. In Conclusion Bulls win the trade. We look better for next year with Salmons locked up, but another year after this of being mediocre is ahead. The Bulls upgraded two spots in their lineup without giving up anything the franchise or any fans value. Obviously the Bulls have decided that they'll wait and make a run at a 2010 free agent. Whatever. You'd better f***ing land one of the top three then.
  16. I think we have enough sports coverage here in Chicago, but we'll see how this turns out.
  17. I don't think this is the end of trades... but if it is, Miller doesn't blow.
