  1. QUOTE (shysocks @ May 8, 2015 -> 08:02 AM) Yooka-Laylee, the Banjo-Kazooie-reminiscent platformer from seemingly every ex-Rare employee, hit its Kickstarter goal of £175,000 in 38 minutes and had reached £1,000,000 by the end of the first day. It's now sitting at £1,448,684, which is over $2.2M, and has broken all kinds of crowd-funding records. Very excited for it, but I hope playing a platformer where you just collect all the things is as fun as it used to be. It is. See the Mario games still coming out.
  2. Hi. I'm Steve. I live in 2015 where a gazillion songs are available to me at all times from anywhere with better clarity and sound.
  3. QUOTE (scs787 @ May 9, 2015 -> 07:23 PM) Just wanna throw this out there.... Love it.
  4. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 9, 2015 -> 05:53 AM) Soooo lets win 2 more...and then 8 more after that. Sounds good to me.
  5. I am personally guaranteeing a Bulls victory tonight.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 5, 2015 -> 08:11 AM) I think the layoff hurt the Cavs a bit. Is it just me or does LeBron seem a bit sluggish on the court these days? Obviously he is bigger and stronger than most, but I think his athleticism has fallen off a bit. MJ was able to weather that storm for quite a while. Maybe it was just Butler's defense. I do love the obvious age of LeBron. Last night, with Jimmy and Rose on the court, LeBron guarded Mike Dunleavy on multiple possessions.
  7. The Sox stink. That's all there is to it.
  8. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 1, 2015 -> 08:40 AM) To be fair to Steve I believe the implication was "top 10" first round draft picks on WRs. This would be correct.
  9. Only three of those teams actually drafted those guys, and Meachem was a bust. Most of those WR wound up being released or traded for pennies on the dollar.
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 30, 2015 -> 10:08 PM) Seattle traded a 1st round pick for Percy Harvin. The Ravens spent a 2nd on Torrey Smith and just spent a 1st on Breshod Perriman. The Broncos spent a first on Demarius Thomas. Colts drafted Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison in first round. The 49ers drafted Michael Crabtree in the first round. Super Bowl team the Cardinals had Larry Fitzgerald. So no, the Patriots do not spend 1st rounders on Wide Receivers, but plenty of other super bowl teams spent draft resources for wide receiver talent. This is just a stupid hot take that means nothing. Making the Super Bowl is not winning the Super Bowl.
  11. Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, Dez Bryant, Larry Fitzgerald - 0 super bowl titles. You have to build inside out. I hate the pick. But don't worry, guy will go for 1,400 and 10 TD regularly, and the Bears will miss the playoffs regularly, too. Look at the teams winning Super Bowls. They don't invest in WR in the draft. I think the highest picked WR to win a super bowl the last decade Is Hakeem Nicks at 29.
  12. Ok finally got to it. You don't win Super Bowls by drafting WR and DB in the first round. Build inside out for f***'s sake.
  13. Perhaps we will look back on those losses to the Bucks and realize it helped in the long run. Go Bulls!
  14. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 28, 2015 -> 08:55 AM) One other minor issue: Thibs' rotations. Where the f*** is Etwaun Moore? Why is the dead body of Hinrich playing over him? It was only a few minutes last night, but still. Find a spark. Bench Rose when he's sucking and try something different. It was painful watching Rose dribble for 15 seconds, use a pick to get double teamed and then throw up a prayer or turn it over. This is what I've been wondering. If only there'd play Moore they'd be unstoppable!
  15. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 27, 2015 -> 09:07 PM) I think we are all disappointed we couldn't close out this inferior team in 5, but looking at rest of the picture in the East we're not entirely doomed. Cleveland is going to be shorthanded and their defense isn't nearly as good and aren't as well-coached as the Bucks. Atlanta never struck anyone as a postseason threat and so far it's proven right. Wizards had their ups and downs and are in no way unbeatable. If we pass this test, we still have a fighting chance. (Again, just me trying to look past the disgusting showing tonight) The longer this series stretches, the better love feels.
  16. When did OJ Mayo put down the Big Macs and start caring?
