  1. The Office was just f***ing nuts this week.
  2. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Dec 14, 2008 -> 09:54 PM) Agreed, Huet looked like the guy we went out to get this offseason. Yes, and it's most definitely time for the Hawks to give Bulin away and get this Sundin signing completed.
  3. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Dec 13, 2008 -> 11:55 AM) We have a good team, and obviously some great attitudes and characters on it.
  4. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 15, 2008 -> 09:28 AM) I saw "Report: Sox Sign" and thought we actually did something. Annoying.
  5. Sabathia takes that crown easily.
  6. QUOTE (Felix @ Dec 10, 2008 -> 11:11 PM) I'd sell for anything. Post count means nothing.
  7. QUOTE (rangercal @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 12:29 PM) You mean this clock?
  8. I'm shocked this is still being discussed. On the Score they flatly denied the rumor saying it was made up by Abreu's agent.
  9. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 12:00 PM) But on the other side of it, I'm surprised they'd find no return for him. He's not great but he has a track record. If Pods once netted so much in return, I'd think Taveras would get at least something. Well, they did find a return for him once from the Nationals, but he failed his physical because he's injured with bone fragments in his leg.
  10. This has been discussed in other threads. I find it hilarious that people thought the Rockies were going to get a decent return for this guy.
  11. As an NIU alum, this makes me sad. I still get to enjoy Falcons games, but Garrett winding up on the Bears was quite a happy moment. Hopefully he's back with the team next year.
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 11:47 AM) so how many more times throughout the offseason are the Peavy/Cubs talks going to heat up? I'll place the over/under at 2.5 For the entire offseason you're only going with 2.5? I'd put the over-under at like 15.5, so I'll take the over in your bet.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 11:10 AM) Apparently it was actually Sean Marshall that killed the deal. Its not often you see a swingman/journeyman stop a deal for one of the best pitchers in the league. It is when it's the Cubs. They are so used to getting players for peanuts (Ramirez, Lee, Harden) that when someone actually asks for a legitimate price they balk. 101 years and counting... It was quite funny, a Cub fan called into the radio saying he's glad they didn't trade Marshall, because he's the "next Jamie Moyer".
  14. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 10:51 AM) All of the sports should just get rid of all star voting. The vast majority of fans who do it have no idea what they are doing, and the fans who DO vote that also have a clue are just outnumbered by the dummies. Nothing would make me happier than getting rid of the fan voting.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 11:26 AM) Took a total of 2.5 seasons for him to truly become unhappy there and decide it was time to rip apart the offense. Longer than expected I'd say. I love how everyone pretty much had the Cowboys winning it all this year after their start. TO always destroys teams. Remember how happy he was with McNabb to start things out, and then he turned on him? You're seeing the same thing here.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 10:53 AM) So...TO is unhappy with his quarterback. Did Mark Prior go on the DL yesterday? That's my quarterback! SOB!!
  17. Never underestimate the Chinese vote. I'm SHOCKED that guys like Ridnour would have more votes than Rose. There must be some serious jealousy out there.
  18. I don't see how he can get in trouble for defending his property from vandalism.
  19. QUOTE (Texsox @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 07:42 AM) True! The person below me has three or more White Sox ornaments for their Christmas tree. False. I don't feel the need to display my fandom on a Christmas Tree. The person below me is a huge Matt Forte fan.
  20. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 09:36 AM) This is a terrible idea. My thoughts scare me, I dont want anyone else seeing them. Just wait until they start using this to solve crimes and stuff. Muuuuurder..... Almost like freakin' Minority Report right there, minus the whole PRE part of the cognition..
  21. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 09:34 AM) Yeah, I should make it clear, I'm talking about the pics when she was out partying, i don't have a weird jailbird fetish Liar.
  22. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Dec 12, 2008 -> 12:14 AM) Like something out of Fringe. This is just too cool. That's exactly what I was going to say. They used the same concept.
