  1. our 2 best pitchers (right now) are Quintana and Axelrod. Weird game.
  2. Dunn fouls off a hanger, pops up a FB. He's so, so freaking bad.
  3. sounds like JP is heading to the DL. Say hi to the rest of the team.
  4. Oops - kind of got my day of the week/month wrong. Drugs.
  5. Here's a thought: let's win today. De Aza Kepp Rios Dunn Kong Gillaspie Ramirez Gimenez (yay!) Wise Gordon (mental midget) Escobar (too many Escobars in this league already, can't keep them straight) Butler (a fat redneck doubles machine is no way to go through life) Hosmer (bed wetter) Cain (speed shmeed) Moustakas (typical royals prospect - overrated) Francoeur (French) Perez (Hawk loves him, therefore I hate him) Tejada (not as good as the one who did roids for the A's)
  6. For the current state of the team I blame... De Aza Keppinger Dunn Flowers Wise Konerko They've played really bad. I also blame Beckham and Viciedo for getting hurt. That's made them a worse team. With the way they're pitching the Sox should be at least a .500 team.
  7. I'd like to give a big shout out to my man Jeff Keppinger who's really been a solid addition to the ball club this season. Talk about "make an impact," that's you Kepp! Oh and major props to the big fella Adam Dunn. Don't forget dude, you're just here to get on base and hit the occasional blast, so keep it up! And I sure hope Robin doesn't go tinkering with the lineup and making any crazy changes, moving guys down and other guys up. No need to be rash. Smacks of desperation. Otherwise, Go Sox! Best.Season.Ever.
  8. This team needs a vocal leader to start calling out some of these assholes
  9. What an offensive juggernaut.
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 3, 2013 -> 06:18 AM) FutureSox.com ‏@FutureSox 57m Hawkins, Barnum, Mitchell, Leesman, Ravelo, Shoemaker, Hansen, Remenowsky, Brackman, Bellamy, Reckling, Rodriguez... all saw DL in 1st month So you're saying it's an organizational trend.
  11. Anyone seeing how MLB network is making a big deal of this? They've given it a graphic title, "TURMOIL IN TEXAS!" Is this game airing on MLB tonight?
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2013 -> 12:32 PM) They rushed Floyd back from his elbow injury big time last year. IIRC, they didn't even give him a rehab start prior to rushing him back to face the Tigers in a big game. If they weren't in contention, they probably would have shut him down for the year. Given the Sox record of stellar health and having the fewest players hit the DL, I'm reluctant to second guess them.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 2, 2013 -> 11:55 AM) Wonderful. This season is going to be one of those years, isn't it. seems like it
  14. I may be wrong, but I thought he owned the Tigers. That we'll miss.
