  1. Come on, at least Donnie didn't walk anyone. #progress
  2. that was not a wild pitch. Flowers should have had it.
  3. He's the real Veal alright. I don't buy that Johnson's not ready. You're not asking him to come up and take G's place for the season but for a DL stint. Let him make a few starts, face some MLB hitters and take that knowledge back with him.
  4. The Bulls win makes this not so bad. Plus Moore may just be the best pitcher in either league right now, so there's that...
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 06:27 PM) Doubtful, as they seem to be stretching Santiago out tonight. I'm afraid you're right. Rather see Johnson.
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 06:16 PM) We're now on to player #30 on the roster, and that's with 2 guys day to day as well. The best way to help this bench would be to hire Jesus and have him wave some hands over people. The Angels would never let him go.
  7. Be nice for the fans to see more than 1 hit tonight.
  8. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 06:03 PM) Santiago screwball is MIA tonight. 3 innings, 9 hits, 3 runs.
  9. well, if they can get Moore's pitch count up a bit more we might have 2 innings to come back.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 05:51 PM) Is it me or does Danks play a very deep CF? maybe, but wouldn't they be positioning him from the dugout?
  11. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 05:23 PM) Why hit anyone? I was only joking
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 05:14 PM) Heart and soul of the game is amateur scouts, according to Hawk Does anyone really buy his notion that the Sox are great talent evaluators/developers?
  13. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 12:24 PM) Just looking at the records, pretty easy to determine that the Central is going to be a weak division again. Or competitive... The AL East is 16-16 against the Central, The West is 9-10 against the Central. There are weaker teams in the West that will get rolled on by the likes of Texas.
  14. QUOTE (High Mileage @ Apr 27, 2013 -> 01:32 AM) These damn postponements are getting ridiculous. Indians and Royals rained out Friday, they'll play one on Saturday, and then a doubleheader Sunday. Royals just played 2 in Boston last Sunday...
