1. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 05:47 PM) Keppinger and Viciedo combining for 0 walks in 100 at bats...that's impressive He's obviously pressing
2. those first 2 were strikes. when it rains it pours..
3. I would say the Jays and A's belong in that first list of names, Wite. And is there a reason you're not counting the Yankees?
4. Look forward to keeping an eye on the Royals/Braves series.
5. Once again a clutch hit is the difference in winning and losing.
6. I'd be far more concerned about Ventura if was making knee jerk moves at every turn. You have to believe his patience is wearing thin with Flowers and Dunn. But look at Viciedo -- before tonight you would have thought he deserves to be benched too.
7. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) Rick Hahn deserves a lot of criticism for not bringing in a better back-up that could give Ventura more options. I'd seriously like to see Gimenez get some more ABs.
8. QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 06:09 PM) Good managers aren't afraid to make massive changes in the line-up if things aren't working. Obviously the personel isn't conducive to playing much better than this, but s*** Robin can't trot out the same line-up over and over and just hope for the best. You gotta try something third week of the season? i guess..
9. I realize this is only the first of many road trips, but this team just looks so out of sync, offensively, defensively, managerially. Wish they could hit the re-start.
10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 06:00 PM) If the Sox continue to struggle this year, Peavy is far and away the best trade chip the Sox have. Call up the Dodgers and see what they're willing to give up for him. What kind of talent does SF have? I bet Bochy would love to have him back.
11. Serious question: When Dunn is hitting under .100 in a few weeks, do we release him?
12. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 05:44 PM) Not a good audition for the team that many think might be interested in him at deadline/free agency. The Angels are interested.
13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 15, 2013 -> 05:38 PM) How long is too long Robin? I would have left him out there for 150 pitches. f*** him.
14. I look forward to the tribute the Sox will undoubtedly give Mark when the Jays come to town in June. But today I hope they crush him. Blame Go
