  1. I miss the days when Mags used to destroy the Royals
  2. you could also argue that de aza was playing too deep on Cain.
  3. So many rookies, it's gonna happen. Just gotta go get Broxton.
  4. I don't get the feeling he was gonna give Gordon anything to hit
  5. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 07:58 PM) I just got in and haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this has been brought up already, but I'm watching the CSN feed on mlb.tv and I have a picture with CSN's graphics, and I can hear game sounds but no announcers. Anybody watching on mlb.tv or CSN having the same issue? i got the same and it's pretty awesome
  6. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 06:21 PM) Seemed like just the inning Q needed based on game day. Lame MLB.tv of course they got the red sox game working. f***ers.
  7. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 05:21 PM) That is the best inning on offense I have seen Sox against Cy Chen. MLB TV working for me now. s***, how is that possible
  8. If you have MLB.TV you may be disappointed -- the only game streaming right now is the Cubs, and if you go on twitter you'll find a bunch of pissed of fans from east coast teams. Way to start the 2nd half, MLB...
  9. indians and tigers picking up where they left off
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 09:16 AM) Anyone else watch the Humber perfect game replay on Comcast last night? Great programming on a quiet night. It's amazing though how much quicker Dunn's bat speed was earlier in the year. I think he's gotten back into waiting too long to commit to a pitch. I think the strikeout totals freak him out, no matter what he may say.
  11. I think they draft poorly and develop talent even more poorly. Add it up and it equals perennial last place finishes. They could have drafted guys like Longoria, Weiters and Braun but didn't. I'm older than you guys and when I was a kid the Sox were always looking up at KC in the standings, so I say f*** them, stay in the cellar.
  12. Looks interesting. There was a pretty good movie about that life, Sugar, that came out a couple of years ago.
  13. I'm hoping De Aza, Dunn and Tank can get back on track - those guys have slipped a lot over the last month. Especially Dunn.
  14. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 9, 2012 -> 10:08 AM) I still remember how butt hurt Chris Berman was during the Whitesox/Redsox divisional series in 2005. If he could of wept openly he would of. "OH NO....!" That was awesome
  15. I agree, not losing ground was just as important, given the respective opponents. Plus the Sox only play 3 more games at home this month after the break. And we travel to both Texas and Detroit. Some will say a trip to Boston is a challenge but like the national media, they haven't come to grips with the fact that the red sox suck. I look forward to that one like I do a trip to Seattle. Same with Minny.
  16. Nice win. Romero owns us and he knows it. Youk seemed to be the only up ther showing much patience. But today's all about Gavin. That was huge.
  17. I thought this was a pretty interesting take on Humber... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1246191...roatation"" target="_blank">Bleacher Report
