  1. that's great, love seeing all of those replies from Texas fans
  2. Geez, a bit harsh on Zack. He just cut his mullet, give the guy some time to adjust.
  3. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 08:08 AM) Good point. It's so bad, it's good. I agree, it's so fun to listen to him butcher names and feel the need to tell you what you just saw...every time.
  4. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Apr 1, 2012 -> 01:28 PM) Viciedo has a chance (not to be pessimistic)...but a chance to be a colossal disappointment. Defense just there--oh boy. That was awful.
  5. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 31, 2012 -> 02:46 PM) Way to get the run in there Rios....not. still frustrating, even in spring
  6. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Mar 30, 2012 -> 12:45 PM) After watching that mlb.com video interviewing Thornton, Reed and Santiago, I find myself a Santiago fan. I think his overall attitude translates to performance under pressure more so than the other two. Anybody else watch that? Does seem like the bullpen has the potential to be a bright spot this year
  7. The Orange County Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim look very, very scary this year.
  8. Just curious, but do people think Alexei Ramirez has lived up to expectations? Was he projected to be more than what he is at the plate? Certainly his glove has, but offensively?
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 30, 2012 -> 09:53 AM) It's White Sox baseball, so I'll be watching. Simple as that. Since I have no expectations, it should be a pretty enjoyable season no matter what. Sort of strange. I'm right there too. I do get a laugh from projections that have the royals, indians and in some forecasts, the twins, all finishing higher than the Sox. Sure, this team might fall on its collective face. I just don't see that. I think they'll have a better record than last year, for sure.
  10. Jon Heyman ‏ @JonHeymanCBS #indians, #angels on verge of abreu trade
  11. wow, that terry doyle is awesome. I can totally see why people were bummed when we lost him.
  12. It will be interesting to watch either way: is this dude just a total bust (like watching a car wreck) or will he finally hit some bombs and get on base a lot.
  13. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 26, 2012 -> 03:43 PM) Dodgers win 4-3. Sox should have scored 6-7 runs early. yeah, the Beckham whiff with bases juiced.
  14. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 23, 2012 -> 02:43 PM) 4-2 LA, top 5. Axelrod 4IP, 10 hits, 2 walks Not going to cut it. If Stults continues to be good, they may have to carry four lefties in the pen. I guess if Thornton ends up being the closer, it may not matter. This game pitched by minor leaguers will count as a LOSS for all those who still believe ST wins/losses mean s***.
  15. Wish we could see that guy we saw in his first ST.
  16. That's when I went to my first game as a 3rd grader, loved that team, that stadium, those jerseys, Carlos May...I'm really glad the Sox are doing this.
  17. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 22, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) And play them all pretty well (or so I've heard). he's looked shaky at SS at times. Like the cut of his jib, however.
  18. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 22, 2012 -> 02:47 PM) 3-base error puts Escobar on third, but holy crap that dude was hustling. Possible mancrush forming. can he play 2nd?
  19. South Side Sox ‏ @SouthSideSox Adam Dunn has twice as many extra-base hits against left-handed pitching today as he did all of last year.
