If we had picked up Jeff Marquez, Jeff Gray, and Lucas Harrell as new players this year, we'd never hear the end of it.
so true

Off waivers? So we're losing him for nothing? It's the beginning of the end
seems like that's 3 serviceable relievers we've lost this season. But I'm sure some will say I'm over-estimating their worth.

tired of hearing the very worn out 'i cant believe dunn just forgot how to hit after 9 years'
nobody is saying he forgot how to hit, he's just SO f***ing wrapped up in his own mind, overthinking and overanalyzing that its become a detriment to his ability
the ONLY way he comes out of this is to keep getting him ABs, unfortunately
I too think he should get ABs but not in Chicago. He needs to take an assignment to Charlotte where he can work it out and re-gain his confidence. They should just call this what it is and that's more than just a slump, this is something so extreme that extraordinary measures should be taken.

I've never seen one team get in the heads of the opposing players as much as the Twins have the Sox.
To a man it seems that way. Except for Carl, he didn't let that s*** happen. And Frank.

Just more evidence that this immature man needs to go.
I know where you're coming from, but even you have got to admit that this is just not like him.
Even worse than losing 1 game to them? The defeatist attitude coming from the team general. He's basically conceding that a team behind them in the standings is better. And this after the 1st game of an important 4 game series.
There are many things you can criticize ozzie for but one thing he is not and that is a loser, or a guy who takes losing well. I'm pretty stunned by his remarks and attitude. I was really expecting to hear the opposite, even if the words ring empty I expect him to be ready to kill someone. I don't get it.
Mike Trout up with the Angels. I mention this only because it's another example of yet another team in the league bringing up a promising impact player. And Kenny fiddles while the cell is burning.
